Bad Kiss Experience

Sooo this blog is kind of very embarrassing but since it's Valentine's Day I thought I would explain the worst vday experience I had... Wait no actually it was after valentines day that this happened. I think I went out on a date with this dude the day before Valentines day but it was just so bad we just decided to take a short break and then he more officially asked me out the day after (and by more officially I mean he asked me on Facebook chat instead of text message. This was back when I was in high school so Facebook chat was just about as serious as it got.)

Anyhoo back on track this is a first kiss story... Which as you may have been able to tell from my Valentines day essentials blog.. There weren't that friggin many of.

Anyway this story starts off weird because we were in the mall, but we weren't even hanging out together. I was just basically at the mall all that day because I was seeing the same movie twice (Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland for anyone keeping tabs). He wasn't even like hanging out with me he just happened to work at a hot dog place at the mall at the time and was hanging out with his friends after... So yeah. Odd set up but it is very high school so it makes sense.

So after I met up with my friends and before seeing the second movie and I was texting the dude and we met up at Barnes and noble. He happened to be at the comic book section... which is evidentially the most romantic spot in the whole world because that was where we kissed.... And it was weird. Like our friends were there and I really did not want them to see us and it was at a fucking Barnes and Noble in the comic book section... So I feel like I don't need any more reason that that. It was just weird.

It's not quite as bad as it sounds... actually it was probably a little bit worse lol. I didn't go out with this guy all that long. He's probably not the worst guy in the planet... just not my cup of tea.

Also random note: If a girl tells you she wants to be a comedian and you say "No, Shannon you can't be a comedian" and then you make out with her in a barnes and noble while wearing a fast food uniform... she probably will become a comedian and will likely use this as material one day. Just sayin :)

So yeah that's my odd and nerdy first kiss story. It's very high school and it's kind of a fun story that actually makes me feel really good about myself. I've come a long way and I'm very happy that I didn't date this guy for longer than a week. Feels nice... lol.

Do you have any funny/ fail stories like this? I'd love to hear it!

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
