Feeling Lovely Friday: Laid Back-Pirate look

So I think this look is kind of a laid back but put together look and I like to think it makes me look like a pirate.

I wore an American Eagle logo t shirt... which I love. I think its called their super soft logo tee. I'm not usually a logo tee kind of person, but American Eagle has sparkly logos in pretty colors soo... I got a few for Christmas, and I just ordered a couple more cause I like them so much. I'm definitely going to look at these in the stores when they have them. Unfortunately it probably won't be till August at least lol.

I paired that with this really cool skull scarf I got from Cotton On for $5. That's what gives the look its "pirate-ness" because pirates like skulls and scarves. Cotton on has a lot of cool scarves and usually they have $5 scarf with purchase deals. I like cotton on they are pretty dang cool and affordable.

And I topped it off with a snapback hat from American Eagle. I didn't wear this all day... actually I didn't wear it much at all, I felt weird wearing a hat in class. It was a bit hard to see my Professor with the lid in the way. (thats what it's called right? the bill or the lid of a hat? idk I'm new to hats.) I liked it because it was black and white and matched the skulls, and broken hearts and skulls look kind of cool together. And I was having a pretty bad hair day, so my hair is in a pony tail because of that.

And my earrings are "pirate themed" too. It's an earcuff that I got from surprise surprise... American Eagle.

And I just realized you totally can't see the earrings and hat in this photo. Wow, I'm firing my photographer (which is me.)

For make-up I wanted to wear a red lip, so I kept it minimal. I used the Physicians formula nude wear concealer (which I love) under my eyes, L'oreal Butterfly mascara on my eyes and a Nyx butter gloss in Cherry Pie on my lips. Ohhh and later on I put a little bit of the color Strange from the naked 3 palette in my inner corner.

I like this look. I'm probably going to use this as my go-to for a lazy day look where I still want to look slightly made up.

Hope you liked this! Let me know if you like these "look" blogs!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
