Scribble About Life: One Of Those Days

Do you ever have one of those days where you keep picking the wrong lines at stores? That was my day today. Lol. So I figured I'd tell you guys about it.

So my mom and I went to the mall. I had a censor left on a coat that we had gotten a few months ago, but it just got cold enough to wear and I happened to notice it yesterday while in American Eagle... and then the alarms went off. SO that was  a thing... Anyway we went to get that taken off today, there were lines all over, we got in a short line... but it still took a while to just do that.

Then we went to Sephora... surprisingly no line there. There is always a line at my Sephora, but we were in and out there pretty quickly.

Then we went to a small toy store and we were going to get a game for someone, but then we saw the price tag for that game and it was ridiculous. Plus we waited in line for forever and no one was anywhere near the register to help us... so that was an issue.

Then we went to another store and there was a minion ornament that we were going to get... some woman jumps right in front of us and is asking the person at the register a million questions and gets him away from the register to go look for something. And that pissed me off a lot. She saw there was someone behind her, she saw that we only had one thing, and she still had to get him away from the register... and he didn't call for help, he didn't say "sure let me just take this woman first" He just went off to help her... so I told my mom it's not worth the line... let's just leave.

Then we went somewhere else and we almost did good... but the woman in front of us said "No, this was on sale" and the person at the register had to go help her. She called for back up, but that girl was busy explaining every foundation they had at the store (this was a drugstore with mostly make up and beauty supplies) and this woman seemed to not be sure of which to buy... and probably wound up buying nothing. Lol.

We also went to a CVS... the line didn't take too long... but we were behind 2 people and it could have gone a little faster. The man in front of us needed to print photos and the girl helping at the registers was called away to do that when we were there... so that wasn't a big deal, the other woman was done anyway... but that didn't take too long.

Also I went to American Eagle because I accidentally purchased 2 of the same thing when I ordered online... and that was a long line. I was there yesterday and there was like no line, I went today and there was a big line where people had a lot of questions about a free candle... but they had a lot of help and the line moved quickly. Just funny I went in one day with no line and then the next day... huge line. Lol.

This is why I've been ordering online so much. Especially around the holidays. There are no lines... yeah you need to wait, but they're usually here pretty fast and... yeah. I'd rather sit and wait then stand and wait. Lol.

But it was still a good day. Shopped a lot... not a whole lot... but a lot... I did end up shopping online for a few things haha. And I ate pizza. I'm in a good mood because really all you can do is laugh about it... but it is frustrating. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
