Blogmas day 7: More Holiday Reviews: Holiday specials, holiday tv, what to watch on Netflix

I was kind of out of ideas today... so I'm just going to do a little ranking of Christmas Tv and other stuff.

TV- This Year

The Goldbergs- The Goldbergs Hanukah episode was really funny. I love this show... but this was my favorite episode so far. The story between Adam and Barry was really funny. Beverly tries to make Hanukah Christmas, her dad dresses as Hanu-claus... its funny. Its very nice in the spirit of the holidays.

The Middle- Not my favorite of The Middle's Christmas episodes... but it was pretty funny. Sue deletes all the family photos on the computer and everyone is upset about it. It kinda showed how Technology has changed things. It was good. I liked it.

Dr. Ken- I don't love this show... but the Christmas episode wasn't bad. I thought there was a kind of funny twist at the end where the one woman was the master scheduler and just blamed some random guy in the building. Reminded me of the episode of 30 Rock in Boston.

Last Man Standing- I only kind of watched this and Dr. Ken cause I don't like those shows that much... but this had a good message behind it. Do things for others, not for yourself. It was nice.

Snowed in At The House Of Mouse- I watched this on Netflix this week and I loved it. I just wanted something on in the background while I was cleaning my room, and I got hooked. Lol. I love the classic  Pluto cartoon they had, they had a good Nutcracker with Mickey and Minnie, and Mickey's Christmas Carol, which is one of the funnier ones! Really nice and heartwarming. I liked it a lot.

House of Villains- This is the Halloween House of Mouse episode. I started watching it after because it was suggested and I wanted to see it before it left Netflix for the year lol. I thought it was fun. If you want something family friendly that everyone can enjoy, this is good. It has classic cartoons and new ones that are funny. I really like it!

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas- This one was also really good. The three stories are really nice. Some Disney twists on classic stories. The first story had Hewy, Duey and Louie wish for Christmas every day and learn that its not about the presents or the food. Goofy and Max learn to believe in Santa Claus and Mickey and Minnie learn that the best gifts are time with each other... so all heartwarming tales. Really fun to watch.

Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas-I only watched the first story in this I didn't like it as much though. It wasn't quite as Christmasy and I don't like the animation as much.

Modern Family- This was funny. I'm glad Andy and Hayley are finally together. That was good. Andrea Martin was really funny in it. It was really funny all around. Not the most family friendly holiday episode... but its still good and funny.

Black-ish- Also really good. I don't think they should have made fun of Rainbow so much for volunteering though, cause that sends a bad message... but the message of the show was a good one overall and this is one of my current favorite shows, so I loved it!

Byeee! Hope you guys check these out and like them!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
