Favorites

Friends- Still loving this show… it never really gets old… I’m on Season 3 right now and I’m loving seeing all the Ross and Rachel stuff over again. It’s fun!

Mr. Kate- Mr. Kate is a great Interior design channel that I just found on youtube… she’s really funny and has a great personality. I love her style too… she has a series called “OMG We’re Coming Over” and that’s a lot of fun… she’s just fun. Her husband is the “Mr.” part I guess and she’s Kate… together they do great designs and room transformations. It’s a lot of fun to watch! I just got new furniture for my room and my room will look a lot different, so I’ve been looking for some inspiration.

Pinterest- Kind of for the same reasons I’ve been loving Mr. Kate- I love Pinterest. It’s a lot of fun and that’s where I got most of the ideas for what I wanted for my furniture and stuff!

Orange is The New Black- This is what was my favorite last week… but I didn’t write one of these last week… so I’m talking about it now. Really good!

Snacks
The Ombre Pink Drink from Starbucks is delicious! Highly recommend it!

Music

The Dear Evan Hansen Soundtrack is great! As is The Great Comet… I think I’d rather see The Great Comet just because that looks like such a fun play… I think it looks unique and really fun. The cast is great too… even though Josh Groban is leaving soon… the rest of the cast looks fantastic too!

Movies-

I think I want to make a point to watch one movie a week… I didn’t this week… but I will and I want to put this on here now just so that I know to listen to something different…. Next Week I think I’ll watch Rogue One. I did also buy Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them… which I love. It was on sale at Target for $12!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
