Chart Chat 6.5.17

Sorry I didn't post this weekend on either blog... I've been kinda busy and the blogs aren't my #1 focus right now... so I might miss a blog here or there... I'm trying lol. Anyway here are the top 10 movies of the moment and what I think about them!

10) King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword- Hopefully this is the last time I'll have to talk about this! Unless I do decide to write a blog where I watch movies I kind of bash in the chart chat because I can't relate to them. Lol.

9) Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul- Again... hopefully I won't have to talk about this anymore. Lol. This one isn't so bad that I would include it in those blogs... more because it isn't my type of movie because it's not for my age group... it isn't really a terrible movie per se its just not going to be relevant to an adult woman.

8) Snatched- I love Amy Schumer... idk if I'll get to see this movie. Maybe if it's still in theaters the next few weeks I'll get to see it... it doesn't look great... but I love Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn... so that's good. I'm sure it's a great movie and I'll see it at some point in my life.

Idk if I've ever mentioned my love for Goldie Hawn... I think I've only ever seen her in The First Wives Club and Death Becomes her... maybe a few other movies... but I love those movies. She is o funny and I'm happy she's back. Death Becomes Her is easily the movie I would remake if I were to remake a movie. It's just such a good movie!

7) Everything, Everything- This movie is probably one I'm too old for it to be relevant for... but it still looks cute. It's a concept that's hard to relate to and easy to relate to at the same time... and it looks pretty good. I probably won't see it... but it's not bad.

6) Alien: Covenant- Despite this being the #1 movie the first week it was out... it's been slipping down pretty quickly since then. Sci Fi is always a weird genre because there are movies like Star Wars that are really popular sci fi movies and then movies like this that aren't really everyone's cup of tea... and if this were playing with a lot of these other movies... it's not the first thing I would pick.

5) Baywatch- Again... I thought this movie looked good and kind of funny... but I don't think it would be most people's first choice with all the other movies out there right now... it would just be a "Ohhh... Wonder Woman is sold out. I guess we could see Baywatch."

4) Guardian's of The Galaxy Volume 2- This is the #1 movie I want to see right now. It looks really funny... I love Guardian's of The Galaxy. Baby Groot looks adorable... the Mary Poppins thing is funny. Chris Pratt is Chris Pratt... there's a lot of good stuff with this movie. The new ride in Disneyland looks awesome too!

3) Pirates of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales- I believe this is the final movie of the Pirates franchise... I kind of find that hard to believe... but I think it's kind of time this ends. I loved the first 2 movies... the third was pretty boring... the fourth was a little more fun but pretty bad... and this one can't be that bad... so yeah. It's probably an okay movie.

2) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This movie looks great. The bad guy is called Professor Poopypants... how is that not the best thing ever?

1) Wonder Woman- I have a few problems with this movie... okay one big problem. This is the first movie about a female superhero... it's kind of a HUGE deal... and the first trailer I saw showed all Chris Pine... who is a man... so that's not cool. But I've heard pretty good things about this movie... so hopefully it's good. This isn't my first choice of movie... but I do like how it looks and it seems pretty good. I'm happy they finally made this movie a thing... but yeah.

Byeee!

Disney Store Closing Haul

So if you read my post from yesterday- you know that I love The Disney Store, but it is unfortunately closing. I did pick up some things from the store that I thought I'd share with you guys! I did get a couple of t shirts. One is a Star Wars shirt, which is technically a men's shirt but I thought it looked really cool and I don't like that Disney doesn't carry the same things for men and for women. For the most part they look unisex to me and a lot of their men's stuff has characters I like better. Like the star wars shirt for women was grey with pink lettering and had no pictures, but the mens shirt had a really cool metallic silver logo on black clothing with pictures of all the new characters and Luke inside of the letters... much cooler! So I got that! The other shirt I got is really funny and it has Sleeping Beauty on it and it says "I Woke Up Like This." Which I really liked! Super cute and funny and my niece likes it when I wear shirts with c...

Scribbles About Life: 3.10.16

Soooo... I don't really want to post about my day... but I don't really want to post anything else either. I started writing something about female characters in movies and TV... but I just didn't like what I was writing and... idk... I was a blog writing machine this week and now I feel defeated. I wrote a ton on Monday and Tuesday and now I just don't feel like doing a post today... but I want to write still... So I'll talk about things that I guess are on my mind lately... Idk. So I got this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor... and for some reason... I'm addicted to the way that it smells. Idk why, it smells like cherry medicine... but I also sort of like it. Its more cherry than medicine... and I can't smell it on my lips... but Idk. I keep smelling it in the tube. I got some cute stuff from American Eagle yesterday too! I got a dress and a romper... I do not own any Rompers... except this one... but it looked good on me and it didn't make me look f...

Throwback Thursday: 13 Going On 30

So I watched this on VH1 around Christmas Time because it was on... they really need to bring this movie to Netflix because it's pretty fantastic and VH1 doesn't get the whole thing. I didn't catch the very beginning... but I did watch most of it from around the time when Matty gives her the Dream House... so sweet. It was a little weird to watch this movie because when it came out, I was 13 or almost 13... and now I'm closer to being 30... but I still felt more connected to the 13 year old Jenna instead of the adults in the movie. Like I'm not totally sure when I turned almost 30... but I don't like it. I'm still 13 year old Jenna who likes the same music as when I was 13 and has kind of the same style as I did then... I don't know... its just kind of a weird thing and I was freaking out a little bit from it. This is also the movie that introduced me to one of my favorite actresses, Judy Greer! I love Judy Greer, she's so funny and great and s...
