Chart Chat 6.26.17

Alrighty! Let's see what's number 10... and then what's number 1. With the other numbers in the middle!

10) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2- Ughhhh I wanted to see this movie! I thought I'd see it this weekend... life happened so I didn't see it but I hope it's on DVD soon because I don't think I'll see it before it goes out. If I see any movie it'll be Despicable Me 3... and idk if I'll see that... so yeah.

9) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This looks funny. This was another one that I was kind of surprised by... similar to the new Smurfs movie... I thought this would be a little bit more popular than it was. I can see why it wasn't... but it looks like a fun story of Friendship and it just looks fun!

8) Rough Night- Idk about this one... hasn't been doing to well on the charts either... so I'm guessing a lot of people were like "nahhh... I'd rather see The Mummy." Which is a little shocking to me... but it's a tough summer. So... yeah. Maybe it's a good movie... idk.

7) Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales- Surprised this is low on the charts. I believe it beat out The Mummy in previous weeks... but it's been on the chart 5 weeks... that's a long time. And I believe this is said to be the last Pirates movie... On IMDB it looks like Johnny Depp isn't in any more of these movies... so yeah.

6) The Mummy- Seriously? More people saw The Mummy this weekend than Captain Underpants. I don't understand this. I think this gained a little more popularity from last week... I'm more excited about the other movies in the Dark Universe that Universal is doing. Johnny Depp is going to be in The Invisible Man, Angelina Jolie is rumored for The Bride of Frankenstein... these sound good. The Mummy reboot sounds less fun than the Brendan Fraser Mummies... I have been spelling his name wrong for years. Lol... anyway yeah. Not one I'd recommend.

5) All Eyez On Me- Johnny Depp is also in a movie about Tupac that will be coming out in the next few years. So there's no shortage of Johnny Depp, Monster movies or Tupac movies. This one I've heard okay reviews about, but... it sounds to me if you want to know about Tupac- listen to his music... maybe read some books because there's a lot to know.

4) 47 Meters Down- This movie jumped up in the charts I believe! Must be pretty good! I'm guessing Word of Mouth did some good for this! I love Mandy Moore and I think anything with her is probably great!

3) Wonder Woman- This is the most talked about movie of the summer I think... and I have to say that's kind of peaked my interest a little more. I don't think I'll see it... but I'm a little interested in it now.

2) Cars 3- I have a Throwback Thursday review of Cars coming out soon... I think Next Week... that's an almost underrated movie. It's pretty good! I like all of the Route 66 Stuff... I would see this third movie. It looks like they have fun new characters and it's more to the original than Cars 2 was. Didn't realize how many famous people were in Cars... I was looking it up just for fun... but there were lots of famous voice actors... neat!

1) Transformers: The Last Knight- Ughhhhh. Another action movie I don't care about that will be on the charts for several weeks. I saw the first and second Transformers... not my thing... when Mark Wahlberg joined the movie... no. No interest at all. But clearly people love this.

Next week I'm guessing Despicable Me 3 will be #1... not sure.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
