Scribbles about Food: Starbucks Food

Starbucks is one of my favorite places ever... and I've been eating food from Starbucks more and more and loving it more and more lately! So... I'm going to talk about what I've been getting recently and maybe some other old favorites.

I'll start out with the Breakfast sandwiches because that is what kind of started this obsession with Starbucks food. I usually get the Sausage Egg and Cheese... it is delicious. The sausage is a little bit spicy, the cheese is really cheesy... and there's also an egg... so that's a thing? Lol. It's on bread that is kind of like an English Muffin. I think the "Cheese" on this one is cheddar... and it's just really really good. They warm it up for you in the store itself... I don't usually go to the store- my mom picks it up for me... so I sometimes need to re- heat it by the time she gets home... they'll usually heat up food before you get your drinks... so if you're the one eating that that is awesome... but if you're bringing it to someone it is mildly inconvenient.

The Bacon and Gouda is the other one I've been eating... I don't like this one as much... but sometimes you just want cheese and bacon for breakfast and this is probably the healthiest way to do that... it's a little lower in calories... and it isn't quite as filling as the Sausage, Egg and Cheese... but it is still really yummy and good. I like the bread that this comes with a lot. My dog likes when I get this also because I share my bacon. Lol... I might get this tomorrow.

Another favorite thing of mine is the cute little cookies that they have... usually they change them seasonally. Right now they are octopus cookies. They're kind of just like shortbread cookies with some icing on top... to be honest I used to get these all the time in college and I didn't love them... but I loved taking pictures of them on Instagram and they were just really cute and I liked them for that... and now I actually really love the taste and I still love taking pictures of them for Instagram. It's a really good and cute cookie.

The most underrated thing on the menu is probably the Peanut Butter Cookie... this is pretty amazing... It's not the easiest to find Peanut Butter Cookies... these are amazing! I haven't tried it warmed up yet because it was a hot day when I got it... pretty sure you can get it warmed up and it is really good.

The cookie straws for the frappuccinos are pretty amazing. I haven't had it with the Mint Frap- only the S'mores which is what it was made for... but it could probably go with any frap... these are tasty. And if you're getting a frappuccino... why not get this! It's just really yummy.

I used to always like the yogurt parfait's too. I got these a lot when I was in college... usually it was to kind of hold me over when I had 2 late classes back to back and didn't really have time for dinner beforehand... sometimes for breakfast. I think my favorite was the honey one... they didn't always have that... but it's good.

Their crossoints are good too. The almond crossoint is really tasty and almond-y. That's another flavor that is kind of hard to find... and it's one of my favorites... I don't really order this often... but maybe I will soon.

The little snack pack things they have are pretty good too... I haven't had them in years and I don't remember what I liked...but they're pretty yummy.

I'm not the biggest fan of their Panini's... I think it's just because when I went to college I lived near a better Panini place that had the same hours as Starbucks... so it was hard to kind of eat a starbucks panini when those were so good... ugh I miss them. I don't even know if that place makes them anymore... ugh. So good... so sad it isn't the same place still... but anyway yeah... their panini's aren't my favorite thing. The Santa Fe one is okay... the Tomato Mozzerella one is not my favorite.

I also like the brownies... especially heated up... they are amazing... every now and then you just want a brownie and these are a really good little treat. I wouldn't recommend getting them with the Salted Caramel Mocha because that is just too much... and if you have that with the salted caramel and then a brownie or a salted caramel brownie with that... you may want to throw up... especially if you're running from one class to another class.

So yeah... this has been kind of a trip down memory lane because I ate a lot of Starbucks in college lol. It was easy and yummy.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
