Throwback Thursday: Friends Season 1 (June 2017)

I feel like this is something I'll end up re-reviewing in a Throwback Thursday... more than once... just because I watch Friends all the time... and it just makes me happy so I think if I can watch one episode of Friends a day at least... I'll be a little more chill and happy overall... so I'll have 10 of these... and I might do them again in a year or so... we'll see.

Anyway Season 1 is a pretty solid season for the first season of something. There were some dud episodes that I haven't watched as many times as something like "The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath" ... which is my second favorite episode... but it's in my favorite season... so I've watched it quite a bit. It's a good episode!

Anyway I think my favorite episodes are towards the end of the season... which I never really noticed before... but I really love The One With The Poker... this is kind of a classic episode that I think is underrated because it's so early! The One Where The Monkey Gets Away, The One With The Evil Orthodontist, The One With The Fake Monica and The One Where Rachel Finds Out are all really funny and just good episodes overall.

I also love The One With The Blackout, The One With The Boobies, The One With George Stephanopolis, The One With The Butt, The One Where Underdog Gets Away and The One With The Monkey. These are all pretty great and again... I feel like a lot of these are underrated because they're just so early!

I feel like I maybe relate to this season a little bit better than I have in the past because I'm about the same age as they are here now... which is weird. I've never watched Friends and been about the same age as them... so that's pretty new. I identify a lot with Rachel right now... because it just seems like everyone else sort of has everything together and Rachel doesn't really have a plan anymore... it's just very relatable to me right now lol.

So yeah... the episodes might not be the most memorable ever... but they are all really great and definitely underrated. I think as a whole I do kind of like Season 1 more than Seasons 2 and 3... Season 2 and 3 episodes seem to be what I always see whenever I turn on reruns on tv... and they have some kind of meh episodes... and the show just got a lot better when Monica and Chandler got together... it just makes more sense that way.

That is everything! Hope you guys liked this! I'm already on Disk 2 of Season 2... so that will be coming soon also!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
