Tag Tuesday: The Disney Tag

I figured I'd do  this because why not. I love disney so... yeah. Made sense. Also its like 5:20am and I had a dream that freaked me out a bit... so yeah.

A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience.
The lanterns at Tangled. Its just so pretty and I love that movie.

An unforgettable experience/moment you've had at the parks.
There are a lot... the best that I don't think they do anymore was that Mary Poppins asked to ride the carousel with me and my sister and that was fun.

The funniest? Some drunk guy at Epcot thought my dad was someone else and was about to fight him and my grandfather right away was ready to fight him. He apologized later... but of corse we almost get in a fight at Epcot. Poppy would have taken him too! Lol.

And also the Millennium desserts they had at the Rose and Crown in Epcot. Poppy LOVED them and ended up eating his own and finishing up the rest of everyone else's too and the waiter said "You'll be running all around Epcot." It was funny.

What non-Disney song(s) reminds you/brings back memories of Disney and/or the parks?
None? Maybe like the songs the Dapper Dans sing.

When was the first time you went to a Disney park?
I was around 6 or 7 when we went. First we stayed at the Peabody Hotel off property where they have ducks walk and then The Grand Floridian. I'm guessing the first park we went to was Magic Kingdom.

If you could choose any Disney character to be your best friend, who would you choose?
Stitch probably isn't that different from my dog, so maybe him. I also think it'd be cool to be friends with Edna Mode, Tigger, Kuzco, Sulley... those guys. And Meg!

Who are you favorite Disney princesses?
Rapunzel, Belle and Jasmine.

Name a scene/moment in any Disney movie that never fails to make you cry.
I just watched Lilo and Stitch and it made me cry. I also have a feeling the music in Moana will make me cry because its Lin Manuel Miranda.

What is the first Disney movie you remember seeing?
I know my first movie was Aladdin and that's still one of my favorites. The first one I remember seeing is Toy Story.

What is your favorite Disney movie?
Monster's Inc.

Who is your favorite Disney villain?
Ursula I think. I don't know why, I think she just has the best song.

What is your least favorite Disney movie?
Pinnochio. Also probably Brother Bear. I don't like Frozen much either.

What is your favorite Disney song?
I'm thinking it'll be the new song from Lin Manuel Miranda for Moana cause I'm a huge fan of his. Since that isn't out yet... idk. I like "Belle" and the Duck Tales song. The music from Monsters Inc gets me emotional. I didn't love the music in The Princess and the Frog... but I thought the theme of that was awesome.

What Disney Character (s) has your personality or has your dream personality?
Rapunzel definitely. I only kept her off my list of best friends because she's my most obvious choice and I didn't want Tangled being all of my answers. I'm a lot like Rapunzel. Any personality quiz I take: I'm Rapunzel. And Meg from Hercules! I love Hercules lol.

If you could change any scene in a Disney movie, what would it be and why?

I'd probably just change all of Brother Bear... lol. It wasn't a terrible movie... but it was sad and scary most of the time and it could have been better without that. And there are some scenes in Frozen that I thought were a little vague and I think Wreck it Ralph too.

If you had to get stuck on any ride in any Disney park for more than 30 minutes, what would you want it to be?

This is tough. I got stuck on the Heffelump part of Winnie The Pooh once for a while... I don't think that's the best part to get stuck on. Maybe the Disneyland Pirates of the Carribean. I've never been there, but I think that would be cool. Or maybe the Little Mermaid Ride... again I haven't been on it, but from ride through's I've seen online it looks awesome.

Ohhh... no changed my mind: Dinosaur! It'd be super cool to be stuck with all the dinosaurs and it'd be a little scary but you aren't in any real danger and there are no songs playing so it wouldn't get annoying. Plus I've only been on that once and I want to find hidden Mickey's! And its nice and cool!

So that is my Disney Tag. What is your disney tag? Let me know!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
