Scribbles About Music: Throwback Thursday Edition Sugar We're Going Down

I've probably heard this song the most recently of any songs on the cd. They still play it on the radio from time to time.

This is the first song I ever heard from Fall Out Boy. Again, like the last song... I didn't understand any of the words! This is my first "favorite song" from when I was starting to get into music because I wanted to be cool. It was this and some Gwen Stefani ironically enough... Something terrible happens every time I listen to Gwen Stefani... so I never listen to her anymore. So that is ironic.

I've gotta say, I don't think this is as fun as Dance, Dance was. The memories tied to this one are still good... but different maybe? I remember trying to do the lick salute that Pete did in the music video and they played this at their concerts all the time. It still isn't as amazing as I thought it was. Still good... I still like it... but I think I like this second least so far. If I were to rate them from best to worst so far... 1) Dance, Dance 2) Gin Joints 3) Sugar We're Going Down 4) Lawyers.

The rumor of this is that its about the best sex Pete Wentz ever had... idk if that is true or not. It makes enough sense to me... but yeah.

So that is it!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
