Weekly Wrap Up: 8.14.16

Favorites
The Office- I decided to re-watch the office this week. I really like that show, I'm doing a throwback thursday on it soon... and its just really good. Great show. Happy to be watching it again!

Tropicana Peach Lemonade Juice- I've still been loving the watermelon juice... but the Peach Lemonade is really addictive too. It tastes more like oranges than peaches... but its really really good! I really recommend it, I think anyone that likes oranges and lemonade would probably really like it.

Cotton Candy Grapes- I don't think I need to explain this. Cotton Candy Grapes exist... and they are just as delicious as you would think they would be!

Snippets from the week
-Monday I went out with my mom and some of our friends.
-Tuesday... I went in the pool and read some of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates... which I don't think is a book made for me... lol.
- Wednesday I didn't do too much. I had a whats up wednesday that was really funny because my wednesday was disgusting.
-Thursday I went out to lunch with my mom and dinner later in the day.
-Friday was kind of a crazy day and my aunts came over to have dinner and look at pictures from my sisters wedding.

TV Highlights
TV was really good this week! American Gothic was great this week! I watched the Office a lot, there was a Fresh Off The Boat Marathon. Good week!

Noteworthy Snacks
I've mentioned them already pretty much. Lol. I had some good brownies this week too.

And good pizza. White pizza with tomato and basil... lots of good stuff.
News and World Events

Alex Rorigez announced that he is leaving Baseball. This is all I've heard on the news all day.

Some idiot scaled Trump Tower in Support of Donald Trump... I don't care who you're voting for, if you scale a building in todays day and age... and it the heat we've been having. He's an idiot... don't even give him the time of day for the news. He had his 15 minutes.

I don't know if this is new news or not...but Universal now owns the rights to the Harry Potter series and JK Rowling's future works. What does that mean? No more Harry Potter Weekends on Free Form. Instead they will be on Sci Fi. As well as Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. Seems more fitting. I honestly never watch Free Form since they changed the name from ABC Family. Lol. So that says a lot about the name.

Thomas Gibson was suspended from Criminal Minds after having a physical fight with one of the writer/producers over creative differences... so that's a thing.

There were also creative differences between Brittney Spears and a director of her newest music video and fans are angry that she's not showing that video... but here's what it boils down to... Usually if there are creative differences, its not the best video. If Brittney doesn't want to show it, its probably not the best... so fans if you see it, chances are good you'll be disappointed. But then again, I'm not really a fan of hers... so maybe I'm biased that way.

The new American Horror story theme still seems to be quite under wraps... but its being teased everywhere. Looks like its about some sort of demon baby and its called 6. Sarah Paulson is confirmed to be returning for sure.

Macy's will be closing 100 stores and Ruby Tuesday will be closing 95. There's a Macy's in the fancy mall by me that I could see closing... I can't see it closing in my regular mall because its pretty popular there. I think all the Ruby Tuesdays by me should be closed... they're disgusting. There was a worm in my mom's salad years ago and they were like "Well do you want a new salad" ... so that kinda sucks. And then there was a pigeon in the restaurant when she went another time and they were trying to smack it with a broom and they were getting dust all over... so yeah. If Ruby Tuesday wanted to clean their stores, maybe they'd be a little more successful. Same with Macy's more or less. Lol.

Thoughts
Some days are just gross... like actually "picking up dog crap all day and cleaning it" gross. And that's probably better than having a poopy day in the metaphorical sense.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
