Weekly Wrap Up- 8.28.16

Wow, this month is flying by! Anyway, here are my weekly favorites and more!

Favorites

Coloring Book Journal- This is a great concept. Its a coloring book with a few pages where you could write stuff down and its just fun. The other day... without even really meaning to, I colored in the book for 2 hours and watched Supernatural and I didn't have my phone anywhere near me on a day when I was getting a lot of text messages... it was nice. It just made me very happy. I really liked it.

Supernatural- I really wanted to finish this last year around this time... didn't get around to it though, I kind of didn't love the 4th season... but now I'm really starting to like it! Its a funny show that I just really like a lot! There are a lot of good twists too. It takes a lot to surprise me on a TV show... and this surprises me a lot. And as I mentioned, I watched this and colored for a couple hours and unplugged from my phone... it was a good 2 hours.

Lilo and Stitch- I watched this movie again and I loved it! Its so much better now that I have a dog. I'm going to have a Throwback thursday on this further on in the future... I have a lot coming up for Throwback Thursday... so good stuff coming up for those.

Duolingo- This is a fun app where you can learn languages. Its free, they have a lot of languages to choose from, I decided Italian because I liked it in college but can't remember much Italian. Its fun. I try to do a little bit every day and hopefully I'll be able to understand Italian pretty well!

Life Scribbles
Monday I didn't do too much. I went grocery shopping and had pancakes... so that was good.

Tuesday was the day I colored and watched Supernatural... which apparently I loved. Lol.

Wednesday I didn't really do anything. We went out for dinner that night though and I had a really good salad. Yummy.

Thursday I went in the pool. And I watched Lilo and Stitch late the previous night.

Friday I went out with my friends for my one friends birthday. I'm writing this Thursday so I don't know what happens yet...

Saturday... again not sure what happens as it is Thursday now. If anything good happens I'll update.

TV Highlights
Lilo and Stitch. Supernatural. The Goldbergs.

Noteworthy Snacks
Chocolate Peanut Butter Stegasaurus on a bicycle.

Milk Duds.

News and World Events
The price of the Epi Pen  has skyrocketed and Sarah Jessica Parker cut her ties with Mylan... which I guess she sponsored or something because of that.

Blake Lively is 29... also pregnant since whenever Blake Lively is Pregnant that is the only news Facebook seems to post. It was her birthday this week thats why I say "She is 29"

Thoughts
Sometimes you just gotta re-live childhood memories... as long as they're good ones!

Clickables
The Reynolds Pamphlet - "Have you read this?" This is a little more about Alexander Hamilton's apology letter to the people after his affair with Miss Maria Reynolds. I've been kind of into the songs "We Know" and "Hurricane" from Hamilton the musical this week... so I wanted to read the pamphlet. I didn't end up reading the full thing, but this had some good information on it.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
