What's Up Wednesday: 8.10.16

So today started with me waking up at 5:30am because I'm convinced I'm turning into a lizard because my skin is so dry and scaly there is no other possible explanation than me being a lizard.

Then I watched youtube videos instead of writing the book I'm supposed to be working on...

I had coffee and an english muffin with blackberry jelly at some point and then got dressed and fell asleep... and it was the most relaxing nap. I think I had some sort of dream, and idk what I was dreaming about, but it was nice and I woke up feeling good.

Then I did makeup even though I'm a lizard and I wasn't leaving the house that day.Just something I felt like doing.

The rest of the day mostly consisted of me picking up dog poop. This may be TMI... but I noticed the coffee table was a little smelly... didn't think much of it until I put my hand in something... so I cleaned off my foot and under the table.

And we had sausage for dinner that... wasn't the most appetizing shape. So I took a long shower after that.

Then I watched the Fresh Off The Boat Marathon and took another nap during one episode... and then woke up fully into the next episode and American Gothic.

Now I'm going through the latest issue of InStyle and its kind of making me wish I could afford all these fancy clothes and make ups... so I  went to American Eagle's Website and then resented that all the models were really really skinny.

Then I thought maybe I should write something a little more autobiographical because I was picturing these girls taunting me.

Did I mention how good American Gothic and Fresh off The Boat Were? Cause I love me some Fresh Off The Boat... and I think American Gothic is hit or miss but this episode was awesome. Best one yet and I'm pretty sure the Politician did it. She just knows a little more than she should, you know?

Also the funny beauty guru thats going viral... I'm slightly jealous of her because I've thought of doing similar things and I've never had the guts too... I also kind of want to marry her. I'm straight... but I would marry this girl. In fact if my soul mate is out there and he has a chance with this girl... just go with that girl. Lol.

Oh and there are cotton candy grapes in the world. I repeat: Cotton Candy Grapes!!!!! This world isn't such a bad place after all!

And I just wrote a "Shannon guesses the news" Facebook status... which are always fun so yeah.

Anyway if I could say one thing about today: It was gross. But I would rather have a day that was literally poopy as opposed to metaphorically poopy... as long as that poop is only from an 8 pound maltese.

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
