APPyNess: Magic Kingdoms

This app is fun... but I think it would wait to download it until it updates a little. Its a pretty new app I believe and there are still parts that aren't available. I'm kind of stuck right now I think partially because there need to be updates to the game itself. There are still characters and parts of the park that are unavailable.

I should probably explain the concept of the game too... its just Roller Coaster Tycoon but with Disney Parks and Disney Characters. You collect potions instead of coins or anything and there are tasks you have to do. Its fun because its like you're building a park but you also have to defeat villains and fulfill quests and things like that.

One complaint I have with the game is that I love it right now... but I know I'm going to get bored with it and delete it. This isn't something I'll keep on my phone for very long. I'll probably delete it in a few months because that's what I do with games like this. Its made by the same people that made the My Muppet Show Game... and its very much like that. There were no Quests in the my muppet show game... so it might be slightly better than that... but its nothing out of this world.

I downloaded this because I heard it on The Dis Unplugged Podcast... and they seemed to think it would be something like Disney Infinity or along those lines... but its nothing like that. I've never played Disney Infinity actually... so I guess I can't say that for sure... but its just a free app... its not really on that level.

So that is it! Overall fun app. Its good if you like pokemon go... but don't always "go" or if you like Disney Parks or Roller Coaster Tycoon or something like that. Its good... but not the actual best.

Byeee!

PS- Fully aware this was not meant for someone my age... but I don't care. I think its something that kids would get bored of easily too.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
