August 2016: It List

1) Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- I finished this book in a day. Its pretty easy to read because its written in screenplay format... but its really great and its a fun read. Its just really fun to get back into that Harry Potter World again. I think I'm going to finish and reread the series lol. I haven't read the 5th or 6th books... but I'm happy to be back in that world. I just think its really fun!

2) The Dis Unplugged- I've mentioned that I liked this podcast a few times before... but I've really started listening to it a lot and its just fun to listen to. I like it. It makes me feel like I'm at the theme parks, but I'm just at home watching and I like that. Its fun to watch or listen to. They're all really funny and get along well. Its like a talk show with good people, but just about Disney and other Orlando Theme Parks... and surprisingly, there's always a lot of news on that. I think its pretty cool.

3) The Office- I just started re-watching this kind of randomly... and I love it. Possibly even more the second time around. There were a lot of jokes that just didn't land the first time and some things that I missed... and its just really good watching it a second time.

4) Tropicana Juices- I've been obsessed with the Tropicana Watermelon juice and their Peach Lemonade. The Peach Lemonade tastes more citrus-y than peachy... but its still really good and kind of addictive. Last night I was up late and I was like "You know... I want that Peach Lemonade." So I got it... and it was yummy.

5) Cotton Candy Grapes- I don't know if these are around anymore right now... but how could Cotton Candy Grapes not be on the list!?!?!?! They're grapes that taste like cotton candy! What a time to be alive! Lol. This is definitely one of the best fruits ever... I'm excited to try these again, it seems they're around for a few weeks at the beginning of August... so keep a look out for them!

6) American Gothic- So I was a little on the fence about this show when it started... I liked it, but its not the best show ever... however last week's episode was really really good! So I needed to include it. I don't know if the show will be over by the time I post this or not... I'll probably post a reaction to the finale... but I think its the Politician that did it. She just knows a little more than she should, you know?

7) Scorpion Solitaire- I just started playing this a few days ago... and its really hard... but I like it. Its just something different I like to do... lol.

8) Magic Kingdoms- I think this was in my chart chat last month... I did a review on it too. Its a game that is essentially Roller Coaster Tycoon, but with Disney Characters. I really like it, I've been having fun playing with it and just really like it overall.

9) Snyders of Hannover S'mores Pretzels- These are amazing. I have a Scribbles About Food coming up about these... and I'll save the review for that... but these are amazing and you need them.

I think that is about everything. Lots of food this month. Good Stuff!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
