Weekly Wrap Up 8.7.16

Favorites

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- Reading this... non stop now. It's good! I'll have a review on it soon. I think I kind of like the screenplay format a little better than regular books... and this is a great screenplay. Very exciting. I'm sure this will come to America soon and I want to see how they perform it on stage. I'm also excited for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them now because this is really good!

Tropicana Watermelon- My mom got this and it is amazing! Its so sweet and there is a slight apple  flavor that is just enough. It reminds me of this watermelon juice that we got at a southern restaurant called Simply Southern... its good! Its pink, its pretty... just try it! Its amazing! I've been super impressed with tropicana juice drinks lately!

Life Scribbles
-Monday was sad.
-Tuesday I went to Target and got Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, which...
-Wednesday I read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! It was awesome!
-Thursday I had a headache and got sick...
- Friday I wandered around Red Bank... which I'll have a post on pretty soon.

TV Highlights
I caught up on American Gothic a little bit. That's about it. Watched The Good Dinosaur, which was good... I think I watched Life in Pieces... which I gave an awful review at first... but now I like it. Its pretty funny. And 2 Broke Girls.

Noteworthy Snacks
Tropicana Watermelon Pear Juice.

Milk Duds... these are horrible for your teeth... but amazing. I love them!

Corn Pops. I've even started putting it in Ice Cream... just a yummy dessert. These are never healthy.

English Muffins. This helped after I got sick. I have them with butter and jelly. Usually I just do jelly on one side... but I was feeling the jelly. I feel like jelly is my treat when I get sick. I don't know why. Well I do. One time in December I got sick and I didn't really eat anything all day and then at night I felt better and I had a baked potato for dinner and an english muffin with jelly for dessert. So yeah. That's a good mention.

Stacey got me donuts this week (Stacey is my sister and she's the best.)  And they were the best. Go to Broad Street Dough Co... they are the best.

Disco Fries.

News and World Events

I don't talk about much Gwen Stefani news but she's been in the news recently because in a magazine she discussed her divorce and her relationship from Blake Shelton... lets just see how seriously upsetting this is. Gwen Stefani has been a giant in the music industry since the 90s. And I don't think she's released much music recently... but she's still a beauty and fashion icon and a host on a very popular TV Show... and all people are asking her about is her relationship.

Same with Jennifer Aniston. Do you know how hard it is to be famous from a TV Show? And she's continued to do serious films and comedies since then... and all people ask about is when she's going to have a baby or when she's going to get married or when is she going to get divorced. It's just terrible.

Kevin Hart is said to be married to his fiancé this weekend I believe. I think that they are probably married by the time I write this! I was looking this up yesterday because I thought he was married already... let me check his IMDB... Okay he got divorced in 2011... but no one asks him about his divorce or his new relationship... this is what I'm talking about! Lol.

Orlando Bloom appeared naked while paddle boarding with girlfriend Katy Perry on Vacation. Alright...

The Olympics Started, Donald Trump did something crazy... blah blah blah. Orlando Bloom paddle boards in the nude... so I don't see why any of this other news happens. Thats such an awkward nude picture to have of yourself. I did not see the pictures... I just think that's kind of funny. A few years ago he was punching Justin Bieber... now? Naked Paddleboarding. I think thats cool.

The Power of Cancer and What it Can Do To You (Makeupbysheaa)- This is my friend's very honest experience going through cancer and losing people to cancer. She used to work at a hospital too, so its hard. Its a sad video to watch... but she's very honest and she needs love and support.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
