Productivity Boards April 2020

Okay... so this is kind of silly but I'm trying to keep myself busy and I'm trying to keep my social media posts updated as a way to keep me sane and occupied... but this is just my way of having a to do list and I thought I would share these with you guys!

First off I have my Cork Board and right now I have a chart of some monthly goals I have for myself and my social medias. I have it broken into 4 parts- Personal, Blogs, Youtube and Other social media. I tried to make it a little broad except for my personal part because that's probably A) What I'll neglect and B) What I need the most. I'll try to keep more daily things on the next thing I'll talk about and in a bullet journal... which I also want to keep up with more.

The other things I Have on this are the lists of blogs I'm planning to write and when I'm planning on posting them- and I have different colored dots to show if I've written them, typed them out or scheduled them. I'm not sure if this is super helpful because... I'm behind on typing out some of these and I need to re-write when I'm posting stuff. I should use something I can erase next time I do this. I also have a small one for my Disney Blog... which I need to get back to writing- still haven't and I have one for youtube videos... which I'm finally coming up with some ideas for.

I'm not sure I'll always put these things on there... I might try cutting up magazines and post things that inspire me or something but this is nifty right now!

Next up is my daily bullet journal-y dry erase board. This was one of the last things I bought- I just saw this and thought it might keep me more sane to plan my days out during this time. They have all the days of the week- you could write a little something about what you want to get done for the day or what you're doing for the day... or even what you're posting for the day... it's really nice and makes things kind of easy! Then I have notes- you can write down things you might have to do for the week... different phone calls maybe you're expecting, I have a few ideas for different blogs or youtube posts I want to do. If I'm expecting a package I write that down... it's just a nice thing to have. They also have a to do list which of corse I write my to do list for the week there... and then they have what you're greatful for- which right now I have books and a daily doodle... which I put a lightning bolt on.

Next up is another dry erase board- this one is a calendar! I didn't really want to get a paper calendar so I got this- it's easy to write my schedule and what I have to do on certain days and then just erase it. Right now I'm actually crossing them off the way I used to with a paper calendar and that actually REALLY helps me keep track of what day it is... which is hard right now.

So... that is everything! I Hope you guys like this or find it useful in some way! Let me know what you guys think or what you're doing to be productive or to not be productive during this time.

Bye!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
