Nintendo Switch Games

Hey guys! SO I've actually had my Nintendo Switch for a while- but really I haven't had much time to play it until recently for obvious reasons... but here are some of the games that I have and some thoughts on them!

So first off I have The Legend Of Zelda Breath of The Wild. I've had a Zelda game before but I've never really played it- so I'm excited to play this one. I got this on Black Friday- it was a ridiculously good price so I really wanted to try it!

The first game I got for this was Super Mario Oddysey. I loved the Super Mario Games as a kid... and this one is a lot different. It is a fun expansion on it... but I'm really NOT good at this game lol. It's fun and hopefully I can practice and play a little bit.

Next up is Undertale. This is a really cute game that my boyfriend got me. I've probably played this one the most... I don't really want to describe this because it's hard to describe without spoiling and this is a game you should kind of play to figure out... but it's a fun game and I really like it.

I have another one my boyfriend got me that was 90 cents on sale and it's called No Thing. This is available as an app also- you're delivering a message to the queen and you have to walk on these bridges and not fall. It's very hard but it's fun. I don't play this one a lot but he does.

The next one is a really fun game I impulsively bought at Best Buy before everything happened and that is Katamari Reroll. In this one you play the Prince of all Cosmos and you need to make stars by going to Earth and rolling everyday items up in a ball. Each level gives you a time limit and a size that you're supposed to meet for your Star. It's very cool- the music and animation in this are also really fun.

I got a demo of this before purchasing it too so I already kind of knew... and I totally recommend getting free demos before buying something. Especially when you first get the Switch.

And last but not least, my personal favorite Animal Crossing New Horizons. This is the BEST purchase I think I've ever made. It is SOOO much fun and has kept me so occupied during this time I'm stuck at home! I've never had any other Animal Crossing games- I did play Pocket Camp but that's the only experience I've had with it and the bugs gave me nightmares so I deleted it. This one I was hesitant to get at first because I thought I'd get nightmares from the bugs... but it is just a fun relaxing game that can take your mind off of everything.

I hope you guys like this. Let me know if there are any other games I should get and if you want to hear more about different games or Animal Crossing posts.

Bye!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
