Target Tuesday: What I Miss About Target

So while I know Target is still open and considered an essential business... for what I go to Target for- it doesn't make sense to go there. I don't think they should be open other than for groceries- so as much as I love Target and as much as I'd like to go there just to see what they have or just be in there... I know its not right and I can get anything I want from Target online... as you guys can tell from my other 2 Target Posts. Tomorrow I might put what I LOVE about Target's website because it is all the joy of Target from your home.

The Dollar Spot

The dollar spot is very fun to peruse and see all of the decorations. I haven't been buying as much from the dollar spot recently, but it is one of my favorite places to check out around holidays and I love seeing how people decorate using items from The Dollar Spot. This is also known as Bullseye's Playground... which leads me to my next point.

Bullseye

Bullseye is so cute!!! I miss seeing him around the store- I love how they show him digging and wagging his tail in Bullseye's playground... I just think he's the cutest! I miss seeing his little face!

The Book Section
I have bought 2 books recently... and before everything happened I had bought so many books I really don't need to be looking for books anytime soon... but I LOVE BOOK SHOPPING! I always look at the covers of the book- I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but when you're book shopping you totally should- and then I read the description and the praise for the book and I go "ohhh this looks cute/fun/interesting... I need to read it!" Target always has some great deals on books too so I'm sad I can't see them in person... but I have bought some books online so I'm happy about that.

The DVD/ Blu Ray Selection
I love buying DVDS and Blu Rays but right now the only way I really buy any are if Target has them on sale. Whether it's something I've seen already or something I really want to see or I'm kind of intrigued by... I'll usually get it if Target has it for a good price. On Black Friday I think one of the best things I've ever bought was all 3 John Wick Movies... these movies are just so good!

The Makeup Section
I don't always buy makeup from Target... but it's so easy to just get makeup or some brushes or something when you're there. I wanted to get one of those brush frying racks from Sonia Kashuk and I regret not buying it.

Along with that... I miss the bath and body products. I miss Hand Sanitizer in general right now... but they had some nice shower gels I feel like I should have tried. Now they're not really keeping a good stock online so it's hard to say when I'll be able to try some of them.

The Snacks
I really liked that seasonal Sugar Cookie Milk target's brand Market Pantry had... I'd totally love seeing more of those. I also really liked the Archer Farms trail mixes... and the seasonal Wondershop trail mixes... I guess if I was buying snacks I could go to Target... but it's not the same.

I can't wait till Christmas Time! Plus I miss going to self checkout and seeing a candy bar that I wanted and getting that... Target is magical.

The Clothes and Accessories
I love going into target looking for some sort of vague accessory or top or something because I feel like 9 times out of 10 you can find that very specific thing you're looking for at Target. I wanted a fluffy bag for the winter- went to Target thinking "Maybe I'll have some luck" and I DID! I was so excited it was even better than what I could have pictured and I love it!

And just seeing the trends in clothes and everything... Especially lately I've been buying a lot of clothes and jewelry from Target and I just always really have good luck. I get a lot of compliments and... it's just fun.

That is everything- I hope you guys like this! Let me know what you like about Target and I'll hopefully be back tomorrow with another post!

Bye!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
