Music Monday: Harry Styles- Fine Line Album Review

Alright Harry Styles is someone I keep on hearing about now- for a good reason! I didn't listen to One Direction a lot- but I did kind of like the songs I heard- but this is actually a lot better than those songs! It's actually better than a lot of albums in my opinion! I think Harry Styles might be my 2nd favorite male artist following Ed Sheeran. I actually just texted my sister to listen to it because I know she likes Ed Sheeran also and as I said he's my 2nd favorite male singer. Not that they're similar... but it's kind of like "Ohhh I like him, so maybe you will."

The album is very chill and easy to listen to. I've listened to the full album at least 3 times and I'm listening to it as I write this also! One of my favorite youtubers, Jessica Braun suggested putting his songs on a "chill" playlist and I think that's a great idea. It's all very chill.

Favorite songs of the album are "Cherry" "Treat People with Kindness" and "She". Treat People With Kindness is very upbeat and it's just a really great song. All the rest are good too but if I had to pick favorites these are my 3 favorite songs on the album!

For some reason this album reminds me of one of my favorite bands from when I was in high school The Academy Is. I'm not really sure why but they have a good mix of love songs and heartbreak songs that are sort of have this sort of vibe... but not quite as relaxing. These songs seem more mature than The Academy Is who are more of an emo band but... they have a similar vibe. It made me want to listen to The Academy Is...

So yeah- highly recommend this album! Hope you guys like it if you listen to it!

Bye!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
