So a lot of people have been trying to learn languages right now and I downloaded Duolingo right before all this happened. Right now I'm on a 25 day streak (at the time writing this... hopefully it's kept up by the time I post this) and I'm learning Spanish, Greek and Italian.
When I first downloaded this app years ago I tried Italian because I took one semester my very LAST semester of college and I wanted to try to keep up with it. I downloaded it again because my boyfriend had started learning Japanese on it and I wanted to try to learn some Greek. I decided to add Spanish to it also because I was pretty good at Spanish in High School and College and I thought that would be a good language to pick up.
It's also not too confusing to do 3 different languages surprisingly. I do get confused between Spanish and Italian sometimes- but I might try to break up when I do them throughout the day. Maybe I'll do Greek before bed and when I wake up and I'll do Italian and Spanish throughout the day not one right after the other- just to make it a little less confusing.
I also want to write down some of the phrases- I've done that for Greek and I should probably do it with Spanish and Italian as well.
Right now I'm doing the best at Spanish- Italian I'm not doing too bad at and Greek has been really difficult. I'm getting a little bit better at greek- but the whole alphabet is different and I have a whole different keyboard for it and it's harder to retain the information. Basically I know the word for Alphabet and that's about it. Ohhh and Pop Corn lol.
I definitely recommend downloading the app because it is really fun and it's good to just have something to learn every single day. Plus the ads aren't as obnoxious as the last game that I reviewed lol.
Bye!
