My Thoughts on Peter Weber's Season of The Bachelor

So- it's been a while since this has been on- but since I didn't really have time to do my Bachelor Buzz Posts I still wanted to give you guys my final thoughts on it.

Overall do I think Pete wanted to get married? No. I think he wanted to get paid and laid to be perfectly honest. Sorry for being crass- but I think he only really paid attention to the girls that he wanted to get with and I think that's why Victoria F got so far in the show. She kept yelling at him on ALL of their dates- plus he had heard that she broke up marriages so... he probably shouldn't have picked her if he really wanted a relationship from her... which I don't think he really did. There were SO MANY girls that he wasn't giving one on ones to and so many that got second one on ones... and I would have been really annoyed if I was one of the girls on his season.

I do think Pete seemed happiest with Madison and I was really rooting for her because I think he did seem happy. She was his first one on one and he met her family early and I was sure she was the one Barb was saying to "Bring Her Home." I don't really think Maddie knew what she was in for with this show however... She revealed to Peter that she wanted to keep her virginity until she was married because of her religion and I don't judge her on that at all- but I think that maybe did throw Pete for a loop because I think he did love her more than the other girls and I think he wanted to accept her lifestyle but... that's a hard thing to do and I just don't think they're a match at all.

Plus Maddie told Peter it would be hard to get engaged to someone that slept with 2 other girls just a little bit before getting engaged... and that's true too. I think if Peter really loved Maddie and was 100% sure about her he wouldn't have slept with Victoria F and Hannah Ann... but I don't think he was 100% sure and that's why he slept with the other girls. We know from Colton's season if someone is ALL IN on one girl he could just choose her and let the other 2 go. I think he wanted to explore other options though... in bed.

Anyway I don;t think this is bad but... that's just how it was. I think he thought he could have felt the same way about Hannah Ann maybe and I think Hannah Ann loved him... but I also kind of think she would make a great bachelorette and I think she knew that too.

Pete's mom... kinda harsh but I can see why she didn't love Maddie and it was easy to see that Hannah Ann did love him so obviously she was going to prefer her. I think Pete proposed to Hannah Ann because his family all really loved her and he was hoping to maybe make it work for them even though he really couldn't. And I don't really think Hannah Ann knew that he was just picking her because she was the only one left and his parents loved her.

Overall... he wasn't a very good Bachelor. I didn't really want him to be the Bachelor in the first place but... it is what it is. I don't know if I want to see Clare Crawley's season because I thought she was a little annoying on Bachelor Winter Games... but I like that they chose someone older as a bachelorette. I think Bachelor in Paradise might be really weird if they end up having it because all of Pete's Girls were so young and Clare's guys will probably be a lot older.

Anyway those are just some thoughts. Let me know what you guys think.

Bye!
-Shannon

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...

September 2015: It List

Now that I do weekly favorites, I feel like these will be less surprising... but still. Some good things. 1) Pumpkin Spice Lattes- Its the most wonderful latte of the year! Lol. All the yes. Soooo much yes. Its so creamy and pumpkiny and delicious. It was what has been missing from my life for a long time and now its back and I think they get more and more delicious every year. And I know last year people were like "pumpkin spice isn't cool anymore." Have you had any? It is delicious!!!! I'm a big fan of the PSL. 2) Arrow- I've been wanting to watch this show for a while. The guy that plays Oliver is not only hot, but he was really funny and good on a talk show I saw him on... so that made me like "ohh I need to watch this." I'm also not super into comic books or anything, but I do like Batman and DC movies at least more than anything else and I didn't really realize that there were so many tv shows in the DC universe right now. There are a f...
