Chart Chat 12/24/17

10) Lady Bird- Still want to see this movie. It just looks funny and a fun movie! I'm happy it's still on the charts- I think there will be some Oscar nominations for this... I think it looks like a great movie and it has a lot of great critical reviews... so I'm happy for this one!

9) Murder on The Orient Express- This one looks really good too! Great cast... really want to see it- hopefully I will get a chance too... it just looks so great!

8) The Disaster Artist- This looks great too! And I want to see it! I haven't seen all of The Room... It is a pretty fantastic terrible movie- it's just kind of hard to sit and watch. It starts out with like 30 very awkward sex scenes. I feel like I want to see it in theaters- I know it kind of has a Rocky Horror quality to it now. I think it's available on Youtube also... but they say you should watch The Room before seeing this movie. I think James Franco is a great actor and to see him playing a bad actor sounds like a lot of fun!

7) Thor: Ragnarok- This movie sounds good too... I'm not that into the Marvel Movies... I want to see Infinity War and I like The Avengers and Guardians of The Galaxy... I think I'd like this one because I love What We Do In The Shadows and it is by the same directors... so this is probably a good one if you liked that movie... from what I've heard anyway. And it looks good!

6) Daddy's Home 2- I really like John Lithgow... but I still don't understand the appeal of the Daddy's Home Movies!

5) Justice League- Again... idk if I understand the appeal of Ben Affleck as Batman... or in general.

4) Wonder- This movie looks like a good one. Cute, Uplifting... I'm a little surprised it's still doing so well on the charts... but if I want to see it- I'm sure other people do too! And this is one you see in groups!

3) Coco- I still really want to see this movie- so I'm very happy this is doing so well and I'd love to see this!

2) Ferdinand- I'm a little surprised this is doing so well too... Especially considering you could definitely take your family to see something like Star Wars, Probably Thor and Justice League and possibly Daddy's Home also... but the commercials of this were good and it looks well animated and everything.

1) Star Wars: The Last Jedi- I really loved this movie. I think this felt more like the original trilogy than The Force Awakens... and I've grown to really like all the new characters. I did a review on this and I think I'll do a video review also... but this is a good one.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
