Weekly Update: 12/13/17

What I'm Watching

I just did a TV Blog about all the great Christmas TV Shows... but I think my favorite was American Housewife! I'm also excited to watch Prep and Landing and especially Olaf's Frozen Adventure! I haven't seen that yet and I'm a little excited! My Nana's friend called her up when Frozen was on to let her know that Frozen was on... I thought that was cute. Nana loves Disney and Musicals... so I'm guessing she liked it... don't think she saw it all though.

Life in Pieces is also on tonight and it's another favorite of mine.

I'm trying to watch things that are on the trending page of youtube now... just to kind of see what's up... so I watched Youtubers react to Youtube Rewind, I added some to my watch later playlist too... I watched the Joe Biden clip from the view... I just kind of want to see what gets popular... I've taken a sudden interest in that...

I also have been loving Lisbug's channel where she's been "pregnant" for a day. I watched some of Shane Dawson's videos. He hired a child actor to be his son, he reconnected with his father, he did a "true crime" type of vlog... but not really. It was interesting. Shane was the first youtuber I ever subscribed too and I'm happy I still watch him today!

News

Disney purchased 21st Century Fox in their biggest deal ever! Disney now owns Avatar, the X Men Franchise, the Original Star Wars Movies, Anastasia, The Simpsons, all of the Fox tv channels except for Fox News and the Sports Networks. They will also be a shareholder in Hulu or something like that... I don't know- pretty exciting though!

Some new people accused of sexual harassment: Jeremy Piven- who's awful TV show has been cancelled as a result. Mario Batali- who exited The Chew. Tavis Smiley who is a PBS talk show host that has been fired. More accusations against Dustin Hoffman. I don't know if this is new- but Ed Westwick.

Alabama has elected Doug Jones as their senator.

And... that's the big news of the week!

Food and Drink

The Bantam Bagels at Starbucks... I just wanted a bagel so I thought I'd try that... I got the French Toast ones... really good. Might get these again soon!

Favorites

I got The Hess Truck! I'm so excited about it! It reminds me of my grandfathers... so I wanted it! I love it!

The Emily Awards on EmilyNoel83's channel. Love watching these videos year after year... I love that some of her favorites have been the same through her whole youtube career. It's awesome!

Other Stuff

I'm pretty excited for The Last Jedi coming out.... idk if I'll see it anytime soon... but I'm excited for it!

I know all the words to Be Our Guest and The Twelve Days of Christmas because of my niece! So that's amusing!

And that's about it! Hope you guys like this!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
