So I thought I would share this... some of it I've actually kind of experienced... some of it I've just seen on youtube and stuff... but even still I have a good feeling of Disney around Christmas... and I thought it would be fun to talk about.
So I went in High School and it was towards the beginning of November. And we didn't do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party... there was no Jingle Cruise overlay or anything... there were just some decorations in the park and in the hotels. We took a picture in front of each of the Christmas Trees... it was cool to see them and how they were decorated and everything.
Sooo from everything I've seen it's fun to watch... there are some really iconic moments from the parade that I always know I want to see every year when it's on tv even though I've never been in person. I like the Nutcrackers and the Gingerbread men.
I also like that they have cookie trails now and they've made it a little different this year so it isn't all cookies. They have pretzels and snow cones this year I think... I like Cookies better than those... so yeah idk.Lol. But they have Egg Nog and Hot Chocolate and stuff I think. Idk it sounds good and exciting.
Plus they do a lot of special character meet and greets during these parties that they don't usually do and I think that is pretty cool. I would want to meet Scrooge McDuck- I think he is usually there during the holidays... which is cool! Mickey's Christmas Carol is maybe my 3rd favorite! I like it a lot.
The Merch is the most exciting stuff! I got a t shirt with Tinkerbell that said "I'll be good next year." It's really cute stuff.
I also really liked the castle all lit up. That was fun to see! I didn't see if they did the special show where Tinkerbell lights it up, but it was really cool (I know Elsa Lights it up now... but at the time it was Tinkerbell.) So that was exciting.
Yeah it's a good time to go... it wasn't super busy when I went in High School at the beginning of November...I think now it gets a little busy towards that time but still... magical! Lol. And if you can't go in person... check out youtube. Tim Tracker has a good video, Justin Scarred has a video in Disneyland and Disney World I think... Seeyarealsoon has some older holiday videos of it. It's a fun show and I recommend checking it out on youtube or something!
