Music Specials Review: I Heart Radio Music Festival and Bruno Mars Live at The Apollo

There have been a lot of Music Specials lately... some for Christmas some not really for Christmas... I thought I would review a couple of the ones I've seen.

I Heart Radio Music Festival Night 2
I missed Night 1 but Night 2 was on on Black Friday and I found it by accident. I turned on a repeat of The Goldbergs that was airing on The CW because there was nothing else on... and then this came on and Kesha was singing and she was great... and then I just looked up what it was and I was so excited that it was just a concert and not a full Music Award Show... plus it wasn't Christmasy at all. It was just great.

They had sooo many performers too. Kesha, Lorde, DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato and so so many more. They played a lot of songs that just about everyone would enjoy... it was just a lot of fun to watch and everyone did a really great job. I was only half watching- we had company over... but I just really liked what I saw.

Bruno Mars Live at The Apollo

This was such a fun special! I love Bruno Mars... and he's really a great performer! He was dancing and singing all of his best songs... didn't play too many old songs like Grenade or anything... just the newer more dancy songs and they were really great! I would love to see him live- he is just a really really talented singer.

I thought he had a ton of energy... there were commercial breaks and everything- but it just seemed so non-stop with every song that he was doing that it was just really fun to watch... I have it on DVR and I'd like to watch it again and again... he's really good. It was a really well done special!

And that is everything! Hope you guys like this!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
