Missed the movie... but had some fun shopping.

Ugh I keep meaning to write first thing in the morning... and I just haven't been waking up that early. Normally I'm up pretty early... but I've been cleaning up my room late at night... and I was just kind of exhausted today... so that didn't happen.

Another thing that didn't happen: Going to see Coco! My mom and I tried to get there early to see the 2:30 showing of Coco- but it was sold out when we went there! So we went shopping again...

But to go shopping... we had to pass the Food Court... not usually a bad thing- but it smelled TERRIBLE. I don't know what it could have been... it was near a Bananas and a Green Leaf- which sometimes smell terrible... and there were a couple of new places in that food court... I'm not eating there again though because it just smelled HORRIBLE!

We did get some Christmas sale deals at Hallmark, Disney Store and I got some $3 Wallflowers from Bath and Body Works. I also got some things from Forever 21... I usually kind of knock Forever 21... but I was looking for something specific to go with a Velvet Jumpsuit that I plan to wear for New Years Eve. The Jumpsuit is really pretty... but it needed like a jacket or something with it... so first I saw a velvet jacket that I kind of liked... and I thought I would wear that anyway so I still ended up getting it... but what I got to go with the jumpsuit is a Furry Vest! I've been wanting a furry vest since Scream Queens was on... and now I have one! Which I'm excited for! It looks really cool with the jumpsuit and the woman at Forever 21 really liked the way it sounded too. She said it has a Janis Joplin vibe... she didn't see the Jumpsuit but... I'm excited about this outfit and I was happy I asked her about it.

I also got a pair of earrings and a choker that went well with the outfit too... I already had a bag and shoes that go perfectly and the woman from Forever 21 seemed to like the idea of a pair of sunglasses with them... and i have a pair of blingy sunglasses- so I like that idea too. The whole outfit is pretty cool... you can check out an OOTD on my beauty blog on New Years Eve... but it's cute! I'm happy with everything I picked out.

I felt like I was more brave asking for help at Forever 21 because I've been watching Safiya Nygaard on youtube and yesterday I watched a video where she asked strangers to pick out her outfit... and I just thought that was kind of cool... so this Forever 21 lady helped shape my outfit idea... and that was kind of cool. Got me out of my comfort zone and it helped me pick out some items to get a look together!

So that was kind of cool... then I went out to dinner with my parents and then went to get Coffee and I got some drugstore makeup! My mom got me a gift card for $25 at the drugstore... plus I had a $10 off $30 gift card... still the drugstore is pretty darn expensive!  I used the giftcard- then some and I only got 4 things lol. Makeup is expensive! But fun!

Forever 21 was expensive too... I was kind of surprised but I did get 2 jackets and 2 pieces of jewelry... so I guess it's not that bad... but still... slightly surprised... but not disappointed.

Anyway... now I'm watching Modern Family and I think I'm going to get back to cleaning soon... so yeah!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
