New Girl Season 2 Review *Spoilers*

Okay... New Girl Season 2 is probably the funniest... I'm going to try to post these weekly- as long as I'm caught up with the season. I just watched the Thanksgiving episode of Season 4 so... that's where I'm at now.

ANYWAY Season 2 had SOOOO many great episodes and moments. We have Nick and Jess's first kiss and their first hookup... plus they finally get together in the finale. A whole lot happens this season and they kind of do it in the funniest ways possible.

That's kind of the beauty of this season... they didn't just get Nick and Jess together... they got them together in the weirdest and funniest way they could. It all happened when the guys went out and left Jess at home because Nick couldn't get a girl if Jess was with him because- even though Jess was with Sam at the time... she was pretty dependent on Nick for everything. And when Nick comes over with a girl that he and Schmidt are both trying to get... Jess tries to get Nick with her... but then somehow she and Nick end up having to kiss each other while playing a game of True American. Nick says he doesn't want to have his first kiss with Jess "like this" which then kind of freaks them both out and he ends up leaving through a window to get out of kissing her... only to kiss her later, more the way that he would want to kiss her.

And... it's cute. I don't know why I just described that one part of that episode... but that's kind of what I think is brilliant about this show. There are so many times when it would be easy to get characters together or to break them up... but they sort of wait and make it really funny and wacky and I like that a lot.

Another great storyline in this season is CeeCee's wedding. It's funny to see the whole gang at the Marriage convention and to see how compatible Nick and Jess are together. And the finale- it was just funny to see that CeeCee and Shivrang both kind of felt the same way about each other and they both called off the wedding... sorry for spoilers.

Winston was also really funny in this season. I think its either this season or the next season where he steals his girlfriends cat... and that's just funny. I love seeing him with the cat. It just works so well.

Anyway overall... this is the funniest season. I really liked it and I feel like I finished this season really fast because of it.

Also Unemployed Jess is my Quarantine Personality... just throwing that out there. She's funny.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
