New Girl Season 3 Review

New Girl Season 3 was also really funny... but there were some episodes I didn't totally love...

I think one of the high points of the season is the episode with Prince- which Fun Fact aired after the Super Bowl that year... but that is the episode where Nick first tells Jess that he loves her and Jess responds by giving him finger guns... then Nick crashes Prince's party (along with Schmidt, Winston and Coach) and takes back his "I Love You"... which Jess doesn't want... and eventually Prince convinces Jess to tell Nick how she really feels and they're both able to say that they love each other by the end of the episode.

So while I think that episode is great... the episode following that is a little less interesting. Nick sees his ex girlfriend Caroline at a farmer's market with Jess and she goes CRAZY saying that Nick cheated on her with Jess... which is a little weird because Nick and Caroline dated before Jess showed up and she broke up with him- and sure then they got back together and Nick ended up dumping her without giving her a reason apparently... but it was kind of weird... Caroline was funny in the episode but her character was totally different than it was in the first season. It was just kind of a weird episode and I think it was the episode right after and I don't know why it just didn't live up.

This season did bring Coach back to the loft- which was really funny. He just added so much to the cast because he has different relationships with all the characters... and it's just super funny. He sort of pokes fun at Winston, he's almost a rival with Schmidt at the beginning of the season, he thinks of Nick and Jess as one person bascially, and he dates CeeCee at first but then they end up being like gal pals... it's just really funny how everyone sort of reacts to his presence and how he just kind of embraces everything.

The breakup episode was also really good. It wasn't predictable and it was mostly a funny episode with a kind of sad ending... but it ends up kind of making the next couple of episodes funnier because Jess and Nick act like they're still a couple at first and then they end up going on a Cruise together and bring the rest of the gang...

It all ends up very funny and I just really liked this season. Season 2 was still my favorite overall but this had some really fun moments too!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
