Weekly Wrap Up: 5.10.20

Alright I'm bringing back Weekly Wrap Up! So this is something I used to do... in 2016 it looks like I listed my favorites, talked about some things that happened during the week, I listed some noteworthy snacks, I talked a little about News and World Events, the best thing that happened in TV that week, thoughts and clickables. It looks like in 2017 I just talked about what I did during the week... I liked the 2016 version better but I'm not sure I'll have all of the categories.

Favorites

New Girl- I'm watching New Girl right now... and I've been doing reviews of it- I'm almost done I'm on the end of season 6... Season 7 is the last season and it's only 8 episodes... so I think I'll probably be done with it pretty soon. It's not as good in this season... but I still love the characters- it's really cute!

Animal Crossing Plushes- Okay so I've been playing Animal Crossing almost every day since it's been released... and I ordered some plushes off of Boxlunch. These are from play but 2 of the characters are  the game still and 1 might be coming soon. I just love how cute these characters are and it just makes me happy. I have KK Slider, Isabelle and Brewster.

Bullet Journal- I've been having a good time using my Bullet Journal lately! It's been helping a lot- I feel like I'm more accomplished on my blog and with my personal life when I use it. It's just fun and easy way to plan things.

Staying in With Emily and Kumail- This is a good podcast where Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon just... talk about how they're handling the quarantine. There are a lot of quarantine podcasts so check out any you might be interested in... I think we won't be totally back to normal for a while. I listen to it while I play animal crossing or while I work out. It's a good podcast.

Working Out- Yeah- I've been working out a bit too. It's just something to do that's kind of easy. I've been trying to do it every other day... but I've missed a couple days in a row here and there and then doing 2 days in a row or more... so yeah. It's a thing I should have been doing forever and now I'm doing it and it helps during quarantine.

Night Lights- This one is a little weird... but I have 2 lamps that I use towards the end of the night when I have the lights out to try to get me ready for bed... and I feel like its exciting when I turn the lights on and get ready for sleep. I use a salt lamp and a neon lightning bolt. It's fun!

Life Scribbles

There aren't a lot of Life Scribbles these days... basically I played some Animal Crossing, celebrated Mother's Day... We had takeout a few times. I watched New Girl... I don't know what day was what this whole time so I'm not sure how I'm going to keep up with these life scribbles right now... but I'll try.

Noteworthy Snacks

Cool Ranch Doritos... I LOVE these! I've mentioned these in many a noteworthy snack I'm sure.

Also Crunchy Cheetos... only sophisticated stuff here.

So for an actually not well known fave- Cookies from Delicious Orchards for mothers day... they have the best cookies. We got a tray with a bunch of different ones- I had 2 oatmeals and then a bunch of other desserts... we had a lot of really good desserts!

TV Highlights

New Girl obviously... I liked the finale of Season 6 a lot.

Also I watched the last 2 episodes of Single Parents... that's a good show. Same creators of New Girl too- so if you like one you might like the other.

The Masked Singer has been great too... but I don't know who most of the singers are when they're unmasked sooo... yeah.

I also kind of like the virtual American Idol but... I'm also a little bored by it so... I'm not sure. I liked the Disney songs... and I think Johnny West is really good.

News and World Events

Most of the news is scary right now... but I have heard some good things.

I don't have a link to the story- but there was a FedEx delivery worker that gave cupcakes to a little girl that had her birthday during this... it was really sweet. There are a lot of delivery workers making the best of this- so thank them from a safe distance. I want to sidewalk chalk something for me. It was really nice.

Thoughts

This took me a long time to write this blog... I was supposed to post it Sunday but I'm just going to post it right when I'm done. That's not deep or profound I just needed to say it.

Clickables
I didn't really watch that much this week on youtube... so I don't have any. I've been bingewatching New Girl a lot this week... I'll probably post something next week.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
