Target Tuesday: DVDS/Blu Rays on My Target Wish List

Okay so I know there are so many different streaming services... but I still always like buying the DVDs or blu rays. And it's my mom's birthday coming up so I know she likes when I buy some movies that she wanted to see for her and while I was looking- I saw some things I wanted.

So first off The Art Of Racing In The Rain- this is probably one of my moms favorite books that she's read recently and I think she might have dvred the movie... but I think she might like to own it. She thought the casting was good so- I think she'll really like it.

For me- I saw a 4 movie Batman Collection with the Michael Keaton Batman movies and the other 2 ones... I'm interested in that. It's been kinda hard to find these movies and we have them on VHS still... but I don't think we have a way to watch VHS tapes anymore so... I'm interested. It's 14.99 so not too bad.

There's a Gremlins and Gremlins 2 set for 7.49... I've never seen Gremlins and I always want to watch it but I can never decide if I want to watch it around halloween or Christmas so... yeah.

There is a Target Exclusive Harley Quinn Birds of Prey that looks good.

Age of Adaline- my boyfriend keeps talking about this movie. It's weird but he wants to watch it.

Girls trip is 8.99! I have never seen this but I really want to and I really think my mom will like this.

Another Birds of Prey... this was before I saw the Target Exclusive Cover.

Happy Death Day 2 U- I probably won't buy this but I do want to see this and Happy Death Day.

Hustlers! I really loved this movie and my mom might like it too. My sister wanted to see it. It's about strippers... but I don't think there's too much stripping in it.

Last Christmas- I wanted to see this... and it's full price but I still kinda want to see it and my mom might also like it. It might be on tv though.

Bloodshot- this movie I'm not sure was released in theaters... I saw a preview for it when I saw the next movie on my list which is The Invisible Man. Bloodshot looked interesting and my mom would probably like the action move. Invisible Man was just really good- it might scare my mom but I'd like to own it.

Fate of the Furious- I have every Fast and Furious movie except this one and it's $10 so I'm going to get it.

There's another Gremlins for $5.

There's also The Meg- which I think my mom would like. She might have seen it already... but I kind of want to watch it too.

I've never seen the first Halloween movie and they have it for 12.99... I want a 3 pack with the first 3 movies though cause I know Spirit of The Witch is really bad and I want to see it. I think that's the third movie.

The Shack- this is another book that my mom read... and I think she kinda liked it and I don't think the movie got good reviews and I'm not sure if she saw it or not. So I probably won't get this one but... idk it's there.

Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is also on sale for 5.99. I really liked this movie and I just like Baz Luhrmann.

I've never seen the movie Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhall but it's on sale for 6.99 so... I might watch it. I think this is available for streaming though so maybe I shouldn't.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World is a good movie and it's only $5! I feel like I'm definitely getting this one.

A Quiet Place- I believe this is available to stream... so maybe I shouldn't get it... but idk maybe I will.

Wonder- this came out a few years ago starring Owen Wilson, Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay. My mom and I were going to see this together... but we never did. She might have eventually seen this though.

Oliver and Company! An Underrated Disney movie for 8.29!

Also disney- Live Action Beauty and The Beast for 13.99... not the best movie but it's still good.

It Chapter 2! I never saw this in theaters but I did see the first one on demand and I liked it. This is still full price and Idk if I want to own this so... yeah.

Instant Family! This was a cute movie about a couple that wants to adopt one teenage girl and then they also end up adopting her 2 younger siblings and of corse they weren't prepared for it.

Kong Skull Island... My Mom likes Action movies which is why Godzilla King Of Monsters is also on this list. And she likes Elton John so Rocketman is on the list too!

Also Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Detective Pikachu are all $13! So... idk. I saw Detective Pikachu and I liked that and I want to see the sequel to Wonder Woman. I've also heard Aquaman is okay... I haven't seen many of the DC movies... but this might be interesting.

So... yeah that's everything! Hope you guys like it!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
