Friends Friday: My Favorite Episodes Changed

Hey guys! I wanted to post more about the show Friends... and since I've been watching it basically all the time I figured I'd just post about it on Friday's sometimes. This might be an every friday thing, this might be an `every other Friday thing... this might just be something I do from time to time... but this is what I'll talk about today! Lol. I already have an idea for next week's post.

New Favorite Episodes
I feel like favorite episodes can constantly change... but I've had the same 2 favorites for a while now. "The One With All The Thanksgivings" and "The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath." It shifts between the 2 episodes but these are both so funny. I love The One With All The Thanksgivings because I like when the gang is all together in one place- plus we got the flashback of 4 of the characters... which is always fun! And Chandler taking a bath is really funny too... so I like that one... but I do have some favorites that I feel like overshadow these a bit...

The One With Ross's Sandwich

This is actually the one after The One With All The Thankgiving's...and I thought I liked this a little more because I was more excited to watch this one than The One With All The Thanksgivings! So this is when Ross brings his leftover Thanksgiving Sandwich to work and someone eats the sandwich. Ross is already at like his lowest point, he was just divorced from Emily and he was kicked out of his apartment... so the sandwich was really the only thing he had going for him. And Monica made it special for him- she puts a layer of gravy soaked bread in between the meat of the sandwich... which Ross refers to as "The Moist Maker"... Plus- the sandwich had Ross's name on it so it was really a jerk move that his boss ate it! And then he STILL ate it when ross put a threatening note on the sandwich. And he didn't even eat the whole sandwich- he had to throw most of it away.

There aren't many times when I'm on Ross's side... but this time I 100% realize Ross's rage. Plus it's just hilarious... and it sounds like a great sandwich!

The One With Rachel's Dream

So the main story in this episode is that Rachel has a romantic dream about Joey after seeing him do a love scene for Days of Our Lives. And That's funny... but the side stories are my favorite part of this episode really.

First off Monica and Phoebe get into a fight. Phoebe's license as a masseuse has been revoked because "There's a lot of oil and sometimes the hand just slips" - while Monica is working at a new restaurant-Javu and it is insanely popular and all booked up. Phoebe decides to start singing outside of Javu and Monica gets a complaint about it. So she talks to Phoebe and tells her that the songs don't really go with the fancy theme of the restaurant... So Phoebe then dresses up while she's singing to make it fancier... and then she and Monica get into a fight and Phoebe sings bad things about Javu outside of the restaurant... and then they ask the customers at the restaurant what they think about the songs and the food and it's just really funny and it ends in a really cute way. This isn't the main reason why I like this episode so much... but it is a fight I could see girls actually having!

So... we're back to Ross. And Chandler. So in their story Chandler books a trip to Vermont for him and Monica at a Bed and Breakfast- but Monica can't go. Chandler tries to cancel the reservation- but they don't let him cancel so then he goes with Ross... so after Ross and Chandler drive all the way there... while stopping at every Maple Candy store on the way... they tell Chandler he doesn't have reservations and he has to book a new room- and the only room they have is the most expensive room... so Chandler paid for 2 rooms basically and he's upset this bed and breakfast kind of screwed him over. Ross comes up with the idea to take all the amenities the hotel offers as a way to make their money back. So they take all the apples, toilet paper, toiletries, salt, batteries and lightbulbs that they can take... and it's just so funny. It's also something I totally think about any time I'm at a hotel! It just seems like good life advice!

Bye!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
