Grace and Frankie Review

Okay, so I'm finally caught up on Grace and Frankie after several seasons! All it took was a global pandemic! Just kidding- that isn't funny! After Season 3 though... I wasn't really sure about the series. I didn't think it was as good as it used to be... but the show is always funny and it got a lot better very quickly after that season!
an
I think Season 6 was my favorite- that is the most recent season! Grace is newly married to Nick, who is much younger than she is and she's feeling a little insecure because of her recent knee surgery- she isn't able to do the things that she used to do. She ends up getting stuck on the toilet and she has to call Frankie to help her get up! This gives Frankie the idea for The Rise Up- a toilet designed to help older people or people that had surgery get off of the toilet. They even go on Shark Tank to pitch the idea!

The season also ends in the funniest way... and I don't really want to spoil it- but... they haven't gotten to filming yet so I'm kind of hoping they show how the quarantines are going for the gang. It would be really funny to see Grace and Frankie and Robert and Sol stuck together. They do have a table read of the first episode of season 7 filmed- I haven't watched it yet... but that makes me think that they wrote the season but haven't filmed it yet... so they might not have any quarantine episodes and they might not be able to film for a long time.

Every character really had some great moments through the last few seasons too. Brianna and Barry's relationship is just hilarious and sweet and weird. It was also fun to see Bud get married and for them to have a new baby. Plus Coyote ends up getting together with one of Bud's ex girlfriends... and that ends really funny. Overall all the seasons are funny- but Season 6 was my favorite.

I didn't love Robert and Sol's story in season 3... but in season 4,5,and 6 I thought they really grew and they kind of became my favorite characters and definitely one of my favorite tv couples! They're just so different but still so perfect together!

Anyway I know I'm late to catching up on the show and I'm late to reviewing these seasons... but definitely check it out if you're looking for something to watch. It's a really fun show and one of my favorites for sure!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
