June Favorites 2019

I just did a summer favorites not too long ago... but I wanted to do a June Favorites too because I have a lot of favorites! I did a lot in June! So here are my favorites.

The 2 books I've read this month are You by Caroline Kepnes and One Day in December by Josie Silver. I'm still reading One Day in December now- which I do like... but I'll probably talk about that more next month... but YOU was amazing! It was a quick read but a really fun read... I have a full review of that right here. I think if you like horror and mystery books you'll like it... and following it up with a book like One Day In December is great. My boyfriend is trying to read 100 books this year... I'm going to try to read 100 books by Fourth of July Next Year... so far I've read 3... but still!

My other favorite thing... possibly the favorite thing of June is Frutta Bowls. I LOVE the Frutta Bowls by me... I pretty much always get the same thing... the regular Frutta Bowl... but it is GREAT! I love it!

I also really like Orange Juice. I've been drinking like a glass a day and it is great, great great! Not sure why I said that 3 times... maybe I want it to show up like Beetle Juice... but still!

I saw 3 movies in June... Toy Story 4, Ma, and Men In Black International. Toy Story 4 was my favorite... I reviewed it on my Disney Blog right here. It had it's problems... didn't love how it ended... but I did love the movie overall. The animation was great, the new characters are funny, Forky is almost a monthly favorite all his own... its great. Ma was not bad... but Men In Black International was BAD. I'll probably do a full review on that soon... but it was the worst movie I think I've seen recently. Besides Welcome to Marwen... this was bad.

Netflix favorites... Always Be My Maybe, Umbrella Academy, Aggretsuko, Love Death and Robots, and I saw one episode of Black Mirror that was okay. And I'm still watching the show You...which is a lot different than the book but not in a bad way. Love Death and Robots is also really interesting. Its an anthology series with a bunch of short episodes that are all kind of futuristic... it's good. My favorite episode so far is Three Robots- where 3 robots explore what human life was like and they talk about things from their understanding of human things... it was so funny and clever. When The Yogurt took over is great too- that's the first episode. It gets darker after the first 3 episodes... but its still great. Haven't finished it yet... but it's great.

I loved Umbrella Academy too! I just finished it and I'll probably start the comics... possibly right after I finish writing this!

Aggresuko I'll also probably have a review on... but this season was great and that's how my boyfriend and I first bonded.

I also really like The Bachelorette... except for Luke P.

My most exciting things I've done this month... I went to Atlantic City with my boyfriend for 2 days! Our first trip together... and it was amazing. We stayed at the Hardrock Hotel- which we loved... we loved the comedy show that we saw... it was just awesome. And I can't really stop thinking about it!

I have also really been liking to visit comic book stores. I'll talk more about my adventures tomorrow... but it's pretty fun! I'm excited to read more. I just really like Comic book stores and book stores.

Also... I'm getting back into Podcasts... My favorite lately is once again How Did This Get Made. They did an episode on a movie called The Secret with David Duchovny... this is a movie where his wife and daughter go in a coma and the wife is alive in the daughter's body... and it's as weird and creepy as it sounds. I saw it years ago and I've seen the DVDS a few times... but this movie is hard to find for a reason... its bad.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Throwback Thursday: Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1

One of my favorite shows is the very underrated Crazy Ex Girlfriend... and when I say underrated I mean the ratings are bad... I'm pretty sure there is a lot of critical hype that is very real and worthy of that sort of hype... I honestly didn't watch it live at all this year until the finale... it was all in my DVR... I had lost a little bit of interest to be honest after the first episode... but I bingewatched it all in one day pretty much and it was great... but that's season 2... let's go back to Season 1. If you're only familiar with Season 2... Season 1 isn't quite as dark. It's definitely more silly than Season 2. It isn't like the darkness and the drama isn't there, it just isn't quite as dark. I have a feeling the show is getting progressively darker, and the Season 2 finale was definitely the darkest so far. The show is meant to be a different spin on a Rom-Com. The girl moves across the country for a guy that has a girlfriend alrea...
