Target Tuesday: Target Online Haul

I needed one thing from target... so I ordered 6 things from Target. That's how it probably would have went if I had gone in store too... actually I'd probably end up with way more than 6 so this is pretty amazing but still. Once you find out the one thing I needed you'll probably laugh at me buying all this other stuff because it is the simplest thing... but I got some other good stuff.

I needed push pins. I use these to hang stuff on my wall and I used to have a bunch but I've used them all up. I actually ended up getting 2 packs just because they're so cheap and I'm sure I'll use them.

Kind of going along with that I got a cork Board. I used to have 4 cork boards on my wall that were smaller and... that didn't work out and now I just have one. I think I'll get rid of that one and maybe use this as more of a changing vision board or something. Idk.

I also got some Papermate Ballpoint pens... these were 3.99 and that's what I needed for free shipping. I was looking for the Pilot Erasable pens but those were expensive and they didn't have a lot that were black or blue so I didn't like that.

Now for the exciting part... I got a Revlon Superlustrous Glass Shine Lipstick in the color Nude Illuminator. Rumor has it these are the new Lip Butters- I heard Jessica Braun say it and I really wanted to try it because I also miss the Lip Butters. I will probably have more on this on my Beauty Blog because this is beauty related but I needed to include it in this very random target blog because... what else would I do? Lol.

And last but not least and definitely not surprising at all... A book! This book is called Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman and it is another Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick! I remember reading the back of this a while ago and wanting to grab it but I decided not to that day... but now that I needed free shipping and books to read- it was perfect!

Alright... that is random but I like it and I can't wait for it to show up! It might be here by the time I post this but I'm not quite sure yet!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
