Music Monday: Thank You Next Album by Ariana Grande Review

I was really excited when the Grammy's were on and I was like "This year I'm going to listen to the whole albums and know what I'm talking about and get more into music" and even though this album isn't from this year... I still liked it and I feel like this helped me kinda know my tastes more. Next week I'm going to review an Album from Selena Gomez... which I also liked but...I feel like Ari is more my style and this album is just a fun and exciting one.

Ariana Grande is someone I've always been a casual fan of- but I don't think I've ever listened to an entire album before. I definitely think this is one I can see myself listening to again and again and it definitely makes me want to go back and listen to some of her other albums.

I think that the best songs on this album are the ones we all know that were released as singles. They're also the last 3 songs on the album, so "Thank You, Next", "7 rings" and my personal favorite "Break Up With You're Girlfriend, I'm Bored." The best part of this album is that BUWYGIM is THE LAST SONG! It's totally brilliant. I think a lot of times the last song of albums can be kind of forgettable or just a little meh... but this one was so great! It makes me want to listen to some of the other songs over again just so I can hear the last track. That sounds kinda silly, I know but that's what I did. It's not like I mind listening to the other songs in the process at all!

Some other songs I thought were great "Imagine" which is the first song on the album and it's a really nice, strong start. Definitely keeps me wanting to listen more. I also really liked "Ghostin", "Make Up", and "NASA"... just really catchy songs that I could definitely see myself listening to again. Maybe not to the same extent as some of the singles where I could just put it on repeat... but I'll definitely listen to the album again and get excited when these come on.

I would definitely call this album Iconic as a whole and... it's just one you can keep listening to and it's really fun!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Throwback Thursday: Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1

One of my favorite shows is the very underrated Crazy Ex Girlfriend... and when I say underrated I mean the ratings are bad... I'm pretty sure there is a lot of critical hype that is very real and worthy of that sort of hype... I honestly didn't watch it live at all this year until the finale... it was all in my DVR... I had lost a little bit of interest to be honest after the first episode... but I bingewatched it all in one day pretty much and it was great... but that's season 2... let's go back to Season 1. If you're only familiar with Season 2... Season 1 isn't quite as dark. It's definitely more silly than Season 2. It isn't like the darkness and the drama isn't there, it just isn't quite as dark. I have a feeling the show is getting progressively darker, and the Season 2 finale was definitely the darkest so far. The show is meant to be a different spin on a Rom-Com. The girl moves across the country for a guy that has a girlfriend alrea...
