John Wick Chapter 3 Parabellum: Review

Alright... it's been a while since I've actually watched this movie... but I'm pretty sure I can give you guys a review on it. This is a really great 3rd movie of the series... I think they're still making at least one or 2 more John Wick movies and there's a tv show in development based off of the Continental... so there's going to be plenty more John Wick someday... but for now this is the last of the reviews I have.

So this movie had the highest stakes for John Wick. Literally EVERYONE is after him... even his closest allies got a message to assassinate him and... he's just on his own trying to run away. He does eventually find an ally with Halle Barry's character- who has 2 dogs... so it was nice to see John Wick with more dogs.

I thought the end of this movie was a little better than the first 2 movies actually. John Wick did kind of find an ally in his enemy and there are a lot of exciting fight scenes. The villain in this movie was really great too. More memorable than the villains in the first 2 movies for sure. It was just a fun movie that got me into the world a little bit more and it made me even more interested in the first 2 movies.

I was also kind of falling asleep when I watched this one... and I feel like I was hallucinating a little bit. I do feel like I got the whole movie... but I did confuse parts of the movie with my real life and parts with the book I was reading at the time... so that was kind of funny. I was like "it's weird they all live in the same house together and they got it for cheap rent" but no... that was the book We Met in December by Rosie Curtis... so that was funny. I do need to watch it again for sure- but this is still my review. Not quite as good as the first movie... but it might be one I watch more than the first movie cause this is an easy one to watch.

So yeah- I love this and I hope you guys will watch it and love it with me. Is that weird? I'm not sure... anyway I would definitely recommend all 3 of these movies... which one was your favorite? Let me know!

Bye!
-Shannon

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
