Hump Day Update: Favorites, News,TV, Food, and More!

Alright... so I'm kind of reviving the old format of the Weekly Wrap Up... but I wanted to kind of revive it!

What I'm Watching!

Netflix: I'm almost done watching American Horror Story Hotel. Netflix is getting rid of this season in October- so if you like it- haven't seen it yet or want to watch it again- NOW IS THE TIME! I'll have a Throwback Thursday on that tomorrow I hope!

Youtube: I've been really looking forward to The Tim Tracker's Vlogs lately. He and his wife do a lot of spooky fun halloween things. They stayed at Universal recently and have some videos up of their stay there and their Halloween Horror Nights adventures. I don't live in Florida and don't go to theme parks often at all... but this makes me feel like I'm there and I'm pretty happy about it!

Also Justin Scarred is always a favorite. He did a video at Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights- which looks so scary! At Hollywood you can actually see inside the houses... they allow some youtubers to show clips of some of the houses- but in the Hollywood ones you can see the full thing and it's pretty awesome!

I watched a Dreams Unlimited podcast about Disneyland Questions and Answers last night too... and I really liked it oddly enough. Not odd in its a bad podcast, but it was more informative for planning a vacation and I'm not really doing that... so yeah. Doesn't really make sense that I'm watching it... but I still like it and I was cleaning my room and wanted something in the backround.

I also found an old episode of Duck Tales on Youtube that I had on video tape... I got the tape at a garage sale and I've been looking for it on youtube since then. Not 100% sure it's legal... but it hasn't been taken down so idk. If Duck Tales comes out on DVD I'll totally buy it because I still love it... but yeah. If you want a more updated, better quality Ducktales fix... the first episode of the Revival of Duck Tales is on Disney's youtube channel right now. I watched half of it last night- then I clicked a different video by mistake and just didn't go back to watching it... either way- great show and I'd recommend checking it out!

So those were the most notable!

Regular TV: I'm so happy my morning entertainment is all new now... after a long summer of game show re-runs. Hot Bench, Let's Make a Deal and The Price is Right are all back and I'm loving them! They're so fun. Lol.

I'm also still watching American Horror Story... I'm writing this on Tuesday before the episode aired... so idk what happens yet... but I'm sure it's scary.

Will and Grace reruns are a must for me right now... I just love Will and Grace... Idk what else to say. I watch these before bed usually.

News

Mexico had a major earthquake that destroyed a lot of buildings. It was on the anniversary of another bad earthquake for them... so Mexico is in my thoughts right now.

A fourth Powerpuff girl has been added to the mix and she looks awesome!

Her name is Bliss and she looks super super cool... but instead of Chemical X being added to the mix- Bliss accidentally got Chemical W- which makes her unable to control her powers.... and in fact she used to be friends with the very evil Mojo Jojo! So I wonder what she'll bring to the trio... I think she's pretty awesome... and I actually want to see it. The episode Power of Four is available now on Cartoon Network's Ap... I'm wondering if it's on their youtube or on Demand too... cause that'd be pretty darn cool!

Toys R Us filed for bankruptcy... which is so sad. They will keep stores open at least- so that's good. I went over the weekend actually and we have such a nice Toys R Us... there's an American Girl store in there and a Claire's... so it's a really nice place to shop... I hope it stays open.

Food!
On Saturday I went to a really nice restaurant with my parents... I will have a review on that... maybe this Saturday... but that was some good food for this week.

I've been snacking on some halloween candy already... I just had a small pack of Sour Patch Kids Watermelon... those are amazing. They also have Caramel Apple Milky Ways... which are delicious and I don't know if I really want to say the last one because it is such a hidden gem... but Target has tiny Dove Candy Bars and those are quite amazing. So... yeah. I highly recommend all of those.

Also the Pumpkin Madelines from Starbucks... just so delicious! If you like the pumpkin scones- you're going to love these!

And Polly O String Cheese because... why not? Lol.

Favorites

On Friday I actually filmed quite a few videos for my youtube... and I just liked doing that. I love coming up with video ideas and then filming them and I like editing... so that's just been a lot of fun. I want to film more now... but idk what else to film right now lol. I think I'll do some reviews.

I have a slight obsession with Lularoe leggings... they're so comfy... I actually won a gift card that I just spent... I'll have that in the Weekly Wrap Up about how I won that... but I'm excited.

I've been liking bullet journaling... maybe next week I'll do one on camera or something... or maybe I'll film that tonight. It's kind of hard to film at night because I don't want to be so loud I'll wake someone up... but I like filming and I like Bullet Journaling and that seems like something that needs to happen.

And I've been using the Lavender Foam Bath from Dr. Teals in the bath... ohhh my goodness! Love it! It's so relaxing and it helps me think more creatively... so I like that a lot!

Ohhh and I went to Costco yesterday... that store is just kind of incredible... so that's on the favorites list as well.

Other Stuff!!!

I woke up early today in a good mood... and I think I felt better rested because of a combo of the Dr. Teals, the fact that I cleaned a little before bed last night and the fact that the Duck Tales song was stuck in my head. It just felt like it was going to be an amazing day... and so far it's been pretty good.

I watched sesame street with my niece and Chris was telling a story to Elmo, Rosie... and the guy that looks like Elmo but is no relation about a robot that liked to help... and he said he wished he had a robot that could help at his store... so Elmo and friends dressed as Robots and tried to help him but ended up making a mess... that's the story of my life. Chris also said he thought maybe they would help him better if he needed help with the Alphabet or something... so whenever someone asks me for help I'm going to say I'm better at helping out with things like The Alphabet. Lol.

That is pretty much everything! Hope you guys like this new format of an old blog... on a different day... I'm kind of liking it on Wednesday so... yeah!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
