Intros to Disney Afternoon Cartoons

So I saw This video online and I needed to do a video about it... so here we go. First I'm going to watch each intro again- I'll write about my thoughts and then I'll rank them at the end.

Disney Afternoon Intro

So I'm a little young to really have this intro as part of my childhood... I mostly remember watching these movies on ToonDisney when I was a kid... and a few times on the regular Disney Channel when I was really little... this intro is so exciting though. It's very Disney and I kind of wish Disney Channel was still more Disney. They had Mickey with Launchpad McQuack and all his friends from The Disney Afternoon... now it's kind of like "huh... Does Mickey know Judy Hopps?" Idk! It'd be cool to find out... but this is a nice memory! I won't count this with the ranking... but still!

Adventures of Gummi Bears

Great intro... super catchy- but it also really gives you an idea of what you're about to see on the show. I want to try Gummi Berry Juice. It sounds good and it makes you bounce... so that's good.

DuckTales

I've heard this theme song about a million times... but I was still so excited that I almost didn't write about Gummi Bears first- I almost just went straight for Duck Tales... I loveee this song. It's one of the catchiest... idk if it is my total favorite Disney Afternoon song... but it is the most iconic for a reason. Possibly one of the more iconic Disney songs ever... it's great!

Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers
This one might be a little bit catchier than DuckTales. I had this stuck in my head a few months ago because I just like it a lot. Again... it tells what the show is about- some crimes are too small... but Chip and Dale can take those cases and solve them with no problem! Plus all the animation from the episodes goes sooo well with the song that I just really like it.

TaleSpin

I got excited for the O-eee-aaa Oooo- eeee- ooo part of the song... but I didn't really like it much otherwise... I couldn't understand what they were saying... the animated parts from the show mostly just showed the plane... I liked the part with Baloo in the dress dancing around... but not much else.

Darkwing Duck

Not my favorite either... the singer is really good... the song is good... love the animation clips of the cartoon itself... the song just isn't my personal preference... it is pretty iconic though. I like the "when there's trouble you call DW" and I like his catchphrase... which is "Let's Get Dangerous." Bonus points for having such a cool catch phrase and putting it in the song. I like that a lot.

Goof Troop

I like this one a lot. I like seeing goofy being goofy and Max being a cool kid. It's catchy too... I've had this stuck in my head a lot... I was actually looking this up when I found this compilation video with all of them.

Bonkers
This one gets the award for the best clips from the show in the best times during the song. I love that he hits the wall when it says "Up until he hit the wall" the clock ticking heartbeat... the Mad Hatter jumping out when they say "Bonkers" in a high pitched voice. It's all good!

Aladdin

Here they really did use the best episodes of the show for the clips... and it gets major props for that. I still remember that one with the quicksand monster thing. I really liked this show... I actually found it on youtube not long ago... watched some episodes and it was pretty amazing... I did that with a lot of these shows... it's not the best way to find things so I haven't done a review... but I might in the future.

Gargoyles

This is kind of a long and boring intro... the show is more of a serious show... I liked it as a kid... idk how I would feel about it now.

Timon and Pumba

I think this one is going to be lower on the list... I wish I could mark it higher though because this actually reminds me of going to disney as a kid... they'd have Toon Disney on in the lobby and a lot of times it was Timon and Pumba and my sister and I both liked that show... so we watched it. The animation is really colorful and vibrant too... I just really like it!

The Official Ranking Worst- Best

Gargoyles
Talespin
Timon and Pumba
Aladdin
Darkwing Duck
Goof Troop
Bonkers
Gummi Bears
Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers
DuckTales

There you have it! I definitely got most excited for Duck Tales as much as I love the other songs.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
