What I'm Watching

Netflix:

I started watching Lady Gaga's new documentary Five Foot Two... I haven't finished it yet as of the time writing this... I started watching it at like 2 in the morning and I just haven't been able to finish since I wrote it. It's not a bad documentary- I actually think it's super interesting and I look forward to watching more of it... I just haven't been able to yet. They did it kind of like Grey Gardens.

I would also love to finish watching AHS Freakshow this week... it's almost off of Netflix... I want to do a Throwback Thursday on it tomorrow... so far I've only watched the first episode... so ugh... but I like this season... if I don't end up catching it all on Netflix I'll probably end up buying it and reviewing it eventually.

Regular TV

I did watch all of the Monday Night shows on CBS... they had some great comedies. The Big Bang Theory was pretty good this week... I liked Young Sheldon a lot. I liked Me, Myself and I a lot more... I think these 2 new shows were the highlight of this comedy night. I did not like Kevin Can Wait- I think that since Erin Hayes was fired... it just isn't as good. I have a review of Young Sheldon up now... just posted it yesterday and I'll have a review of Me, Myself and I next week! If I had to recommend just one though- Me, Myself and I. I really liked it!

I also watched The Good Doctor... which I thought was good- I just don't find myself paying much attention to the "medical" part of medical shows... and this was pretty much all medical talk... so it wasn't my thing but Freddie Highmore is great in it and it really is an interesting show. Very well done in my opinion... I know they just had a special on real doctors that had Autism... I'm a little more interested in that now that I've seen the show.

I watched the premiere of This is Us... that was really great. It's been so long since the finale- but it felt like no time had passed... which is kind of awesome.

And American Horror Story Cult... this week was scary but there were a lot of pretty funny moments too... I liked that they showed the gym because the gym is almost a cult itself. Lol. I'll have a recap of that on Monday or Tuesday!

News

Kit Harrington aka John Snow is engaged to his costar Rosie Leslie. The two played a dysfunctional couple... I guess you could say on Game of Thrones... so cute?

In other couple news, Phillipa Soo got married over the weekend to another broadway star and Idina Menzel married a broadway star also over the weekend... again... not sure who it is- he's also known for some Disney movies including the singing voice of Max in A Goofy Movie... so yeah. That's pretty cool.

Pit Bull sent a private jet to Puerto Rico to transfer cancer patients so that they can continue treatments. That's pretty awesome!

Food

I just ate some pretty delicious Mac and Cheese.

I tried the Maple Pecan Latte from Starbucks... I'll have a review on that pretty soon- but it was really good!

I had some Pepperidge Farm Thin and Crispy chocolate chip cookies... those are pretty delicious.

Favorites

I got some new clothes from Old Navy that I've been liking a lot! I've only worn a couple... they have longer shirts and dresses that I like to wear with leggings. They're comfy and cute.

The Iphone 8 is another new favorite! I just got it this week... the camera is pretty amazing! I'm really impressed with it! I would recommend getting it if you're wanting a new phone or if you're thinking about it.

My painting from Pinot's palette! If you haven't seen it yet, I posted it on my Weekly Wrap Up post... I love how it turned out. It's super pretty and fun and fall-ish.

Other Stuff

Snapchat filters don't recognize glasses because the technology for the filters was originally used for pilots. This isn't true... but if you say it interestingly enough- people will believe you... so I did that a few times this week.

Anddd that's it!

Hope you guys like this!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
