Chart Chat 9.15.17- 9.17.17

Not much surprise here... but let's keep on going!

10) Dunkirk- 9 weeks on the top ten isn't too bad! I think this is going out of theaters and onto DVD and streaming services pretty soon... so I'm excited for that. I've talked about this movie for the past nine weeks... so you know my feelings. I'm going to watch it eventually... but yeah!

9) Spider Man: Homecoming- Again... I've talked about this movie for the last 11 weeks... so you should know how I feel about this as well. I love Spider Man... I'm excited to see this... but yeah. Not something I saw... just didn't get to movies this year... I really don't go often... I love going to movies... I don't know many other people that really do and it's expensive and time consuming... so it kinda is what it is... but yeah- Spider Man is great and I like it! I'll see it on TV!

8) Leap!- This looked cute... if I see this on TV and remember to watch it- I'll let you know how I feel about it. I think it's a french movie... so it might be a little different... but it sounds cute.

7) Wind River- Jeremy Renner... not the best actor in the world- but this movie seems to have some buzz and I'm interested. Sounds like something I'll either love or hate!

6) Annabelle: Creation- I think this might be the scariest looking movie out right now... and there are 2 horror movies out ahead of this... so yeah. I'm more creeped out by Dolls than Clowns or Mothers(?) lol. But this sounds good... I'll watch this. I want to watch this sometime before watching the other Annabelle or The Conjuring.

5) The Hitman's Bodyguard- Ryan Reynolds is great- Samuel L. Jackson is great... what more could you want! This sounds fun and great.

4) Home Again- I had a dream that I was interviewing Reese Witherspoon or something like that this week. I like her- I don't really want to see this... it's been done before and it just does not look like the best version of this... so yeah. Cute but no thanks.

3) Mother!- This is getting some pretty bizarre reviews. Sandy Kenyon is the ABC NY critic that I usually listen to and he seemed to be okay with it... but someone else said it was funny and he said- uhhhh no it's pretty damn disturbing. Jennifer Lawrence said it scared her reading it... it's been described as controversial and disturbing... it just doesn't sound like something that will be everyone's cup of tea... but maybe it's yours and maybe go see it.

2) American Assassin- The guy from The Maze Runner Series is in this... so that's good. He's cute. I don't like the Maze Runner Series because I pretty much hated The Scorch Trials... but anyway yeah. This sounds like maybe it's his Baby Driver. Idk- didn't check what it was about... and I don't really care. I think it's one to see. Maybe if you're into action movies and not into horror- pick this one this week!

1) It- 2nd week in a row! I'm not really scared of this movie... I'm apparently the only person that's kind of like "meh" and this one I've heard isn't as scary... so I'm not super interested in this. I'm kind of interested in writing a horror comedy... but yeah.

Byeee! Sorry there's not much more interesting to say!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
