Happy Halloween! Here we go with the Chart Chat... which I'm moving to Tuesday for the next few weeks!
10) It- Surprised this is on the bottom of the charts... but it still seems to be going strong for halloween! I didn't see Pennywise when I went out... I saw a couple of Twisty's though... which is strange. One Bar had a drawing of Pennywise on the menu... but I didn't see anyone dressed up as Pennywise. Just as well... that's a little too scary!
9) Suburbicon- This looks good... but I'm not too fond of Matt Damon or George Clooney right now... who knows though- they are good actors... but I can't see how something has been going on for years and they are "so shocked" about it... that's just me... but you know... this sucks lol. This hasn't gotten great reviews from what I've heard- so I think I'd rather hold out for Murder on the Orient Express for my Murder Mystery needs... but this looks good.
8) The Foreigner- I talked about this last week... it sounded like it had a more complicated storyline that is hard for me to try and convey... but yeah this is a movie that's out now.
7) Only The Brave- This is kind of a unique based on real life heroes story... I think at least. Not a lot of movies about fireman in wild fires and this had a good cast... so this looked interesting.
6) Thank You For Your Service- This sounds like a sad movie that is probably good to see... but hard to watch. It's about soldiers getting back from Iraq and their struggle to go back to their family life as a civilian. Miles Teller is in both this movie and Only The Brave... so if you like Miles Teller- you have some options this weekend!
5) Blade Runner 2049- Ryan Gosling is in this movie. I don't think there is any other reason to see it... idk what it's about.
4) Happy Death Day- This movie did look good... but honestly I don't always like "groundhog day" movies... I feel like that's a good way to tell a horror movie... but I'm not sure about it. It looked scary!
3) Geostorm- This is a science fiction Horror movie from the sounds of it. It sounds good... but I feel like this sort of disaster movie has been done before... idk it may be the #3 movie of the week... wouldn't be my first choice of movie.
2) Tyler Perry's' Boo 2: A Madea Halloween- If you're not into horror movies, but you still want some halloween fun at the movies- I think this movie is the way to go. I don't think there are any real horror elements to it... I think it just looks really funny. I haven't seen this or the first Boo! A Madea Halloween... but this looks good!
1) Jigsaw- This is the scariest movie you could probably see this weekend. From what I hear- the first few Saw movies have more of a plot and the rest are kind of just torture porn... I've never watched them... I don't think I'll attempt watching one anytime soon... but idk- I could lol. I have a feeling this will be more like the originals... but I don't know for sure. Maybe it's not as good. I feel like if I were to choose a horror movie- I'd go with It or Happy Death Day... but maybe this could be interesting. Glad they're reviving an old Franchise that isn't outdated yet.
So that is everything! Hope you liked it and you're having a fun Halloween! Did anyone dress up? Let me know!
Byeee!
