I thought it would be fun to talk about my 26 favorite things- I'm not including people like Family and friends because then that would just be a long list and those are kind of a give-in. I will probably have people like Lady Gaga on the list though... so yeah. Lol. These are in no order... there are probably more... but yeah. It's more categories like "Favorite Pet" "Favorite TV Show" and things like that.
1- Dogs- I love dogs. Dogs are my favorite pet... I have had 2 adorable and fun malteses... dogs are just my favorites. I think that's a little different than favorite animal... so let's talk about some of my favorite animals.
2- Giraffes and Elephants- I'm not sure I could really choose one to be my favorite animal... I think I love them both. Giraffes are beautiful... Elephants are beautiful and they're so fascinating. I love the Elephants that paint pictures of elephants... they are brilliant and I love them!
3- Arrested Development- This is my favorite tv show of all time. It's so funny... basically my entire sense of humor and why I want to be a writer and why I love comedy so very much!
4- La La Land- This might be my favorite movie... I've only seen it once... but I feel like it's probably my favorite movie proper lol. It's just a good story and a great musical... the end is very sad... but I love Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling and I'd recommend checking it out... it's one of my favorites.
5- Lady Gaga- Lady Gaga is just the best. I saw her in concert recently and it was magical... I've been a fan of her for forever... before she was popular in the US even... I just think she's amazing and I love everything she does. I still haven't actually seen Five Foot 2 yet!!! What's up with that??? Lol.
6- Almond Scented Things- Almond is my favorite scent... I love anything almond scented and it makes me happy and it smells warm and clean... so almonds for the win!
7- Penne Vodka- Now onto my favorite food: Penne Vodka! I haven't had Penne Vodka in a while... I'm getting Vodka Sauce Pizza for my birthday tonight though... which I'm excited about... and I just recommend eating it... It took me a while to like it because I don't love tomato sauce... but once I tried it I was like "This is absolutely delicious! I don't know why I've never tried this before!" And then everyone was like "Shannon... we've told you this is good!" And... idk. I just never tried it... but it's pretty amazing.
8- Makeup- I have a makeup blog... I have a makeup youtube channel... I just like makeup a lot. It's super fun to do and I just like it a lot!
9- American Horror Story- I think I'm going to do a whole different 26 favorites for TV shows... I'm not sure if I have 26 favorite tv shows even... but I love American Horror Story for one that is on right now. It might be my favorite seasonal show... I think I get the most excited when this comes back and when it's on during the week!
10- Minions- I might need to do a favorite cartoon characters one too... because there are a lot! Lol. But you probably know I'm obsessed with minions by now... because they're just my favorites. They're so funny and cute and Despicable Me is another favorite movie.
11- Fall Out Boy- Fall Out Boy is the band that got me to really love music when I was in 6th grade... and guess what? I still LOVE them! I'm a huge fan... they're definitely my favorite!
12- Hamilton- Speaking of favorite music... Uhhhhh HAMILTON! I loveee hamilton- it's just so good I saw the broadway play and it was my favorite... and I still love it. It's just brilliant. An all rap musical about one of the founding fathers? Yes please!!!
13- Gone Girl- This is my favorite book I've ever read... I kind of hate Ben Affleck... okay I REALLY hate Ben Affleck- but the movie was good too. I'll do a feminist blog sometime on exactly why I hate Ben and Casey Affleck... but yeah. Not fans. I do love the book Gone Girl though. It's really good!
14- Disney- I love Disney movies and the Disney Theme Parks. I watch a lot of Disney Parks youtube videos... it's good! Lol.
15- Lin Manuel Miranda- This goes with Hamilton... but Lin Manuel Miranda is the man. I'm watching an episode of Sesame Street with him on it right now... it's good. He's a Bird Real Estate Agent... which I think is what I want to be when I grow up.
16- Muppets- I love the muppets! Speaking of sesame street! I really like the muppets... but I've been watching a lot of sesame street lately with my niece... it's good. My favorite muppets are Statler and Waldorf and Miss Piggy. I think a person's favorite muppet says a lot about them. For Sesame Street I like Cookie Monster... he's really funny.
17- Lularoe- I love lularoe clothing... it's just been my favorite lately. I'm a little obsessed.
18- Snoopy- I love Snoopy! So cute!
19- Ed Sheeran- Another one of my favorite singers... who I am seeing next year!!! So exciting! I never get tired of Ed Sheeran songs!
20- Rapunzel- Rapunzel is my favorite disney Princess! I love her! I can relate to her lol. She's my favorite!
21- Stephen Colbert- Favorite talk show host! I loved The Colbert Report and I love the Late Show even better I think. He's so funny.
22- Apple- My preferred electronics brand is Apple! I don't see myself changing that. Lol.
23- Tina Fey and Amy Poehler- Favorite celebrities! Both so funny and I just really like anything they're in... especially together. Sisters is great. I love Parks and Rec, 30 Rock... they're the best.
24- Will Ferrel- Another favorite actor. Again funny... love most of his movies. Maybe I'll do a ranking of his movies also... I did an Adam Sandler Ranking once... and I'm more experienced in Will Ferrel knowledge. So yeah!
25- Halloween- I love everything about halloween... the candy- I like scary things... I like the weather...it's just a fun holiday.
26- Writing- Of corse this is a favorite! That's why I blog almost daily!
