It List: April 2016

Alright favorites for april... GO!

1) Dance Lessons- You guys know I'm taking dance lessons to get good for my sisters wedding and now I'm really having fun with them. Its a fun little hobby I have now and I've really been loving it. I think they are a lot of fun and if you've been thinking of them or just want something to do thats a fun workout... I like dancing! Its fun and creative and I just like it a lot! Its fun.

2) My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2- I loved My Big Fat Greek Wedding... its one of my favorite movies and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like MBFGW2 just as much! If not more. Well okay... MBFGW is a better movie in general, but 2 was funnier. I also started Tearing up at 2 and I didn't in the first one... lol. There's a lot of heart and I love Nia Vardalos and John Corbett together. Nia Vardalos is also one of my favorite people. She's my idol and she's one of the nicest people to follow on social media and seems like a sweet, genuine person and a great mom. If you haven't read Instant Mom, its one of the best books ever. I love it.

3) Greek Food- Alright... those 2 things kinda bring me to my 3rd favorite thing. Lol. So There's a Greek place right near my dance studio and I've had that 2 times... and its yummy. So thats nice. The dance studio is moving... but its nice for greek food and we don't love greek food... but we love this place lol. My family is what I mean by love lol.

4) Iced Chai Latte- This is just really tasty! I'm sad that they stopped the Citrus Green Tea latte from starbucks before summer... but the chai latte is really yummy and sweet and it just tastes nice iced. I love it! At my starbucks they make it really good.

5) Instagram- So I started a new instagram and I'm thinking of starting one for this blog. Idk... that was my friends idea, but I like the 2 I have now and I've been liking to just take pics of makeup and things and review them on my blog Shannonsreviews. Its really easy and fun and I like it a lot! So thats kind of a favorite of the month.

6) Periscope- I think this was a favorite last month... but its still a favorite. Lol.  I really like it! I've made a lot of friends on there and its just fun. I watch beauty periscopes... but there are lots of others and its fun!

7) Pure Leaf Iced Tea- I love these iced teas... I've been liking these a lot lately.Theres a lot of tea in the bottle, and they're really tasty and fruity and flavorful... and I just really like them a lot! Great teas! Especially if you like fruity drinks!

I think that is everything! Hope you guys like this! I'm having fun with all these things and I like it a lot... so yeah. Lol. Not too much stuff... but thats all I can think of right now. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
