Shannon Goes Viral: Blink 182, 10 hour loop videos

Okay... so I was going to do a mix of the Shrek is Love videos... but I couldn't get passed Shrek is Love 2... and I just can't recommend watching those at all. They make me feel sick and they just kind of suck... so instead... I'm doing a few minutes of some 10 hour loop videos and writing about those.

Blink 182: I Miss You: Tom's Verse 10 hour loop
Obviously... I didn't watch this on a 10 hour loop... I listened to it for 8 minutes while I wrote yesterdays blog and then clicked away. I like this song. I think I'm more of a Mark fan than a Tom fan when it comes to Blink... but I like Tom's voice. Its cute and fun. My favorite songs just happen to be Mark songs. This is a good mix of the two of them. And it didn't really feel like I was listening to this for 8 minutes... it just felt like a long song, or just a song that was stuck in my head. I believe this has something to do with Nathan Fielder... but I don't totally know.

What's Going On- He Man
This is a really funny video... idk about the 10 hour loop thing... but I've listened to it previously for several minutes... and right now I'm listening to it for the third time as I'm writing this. Easily one of my favorite things the internet has to offer. I feel like as long as this video is accessible at some point in my life... I'm going to be okay. Its really funny. And it just makes me happy. Any time I hear that song IRL I think of the He Man video and I just crack up. Its such a bad song! But the He Man version is great. Highly recommend. I'm sure I've written about this before but now its helping me get over the Shrek thing... so its good. Again... this is going on about 8 minutes!

Song of Storms
Not totally sure what this is... but it was suggested after He Man... so we're going for it!

Okay this is from Zelda: Ocarina of Time... so that's good. I really like the Zelda song, and it kind of brings happy memories... even though I've never really played Zelda... its just good. I'm probably not going to make it much longer with this one, just because there's no fun video or anything to go with it... so its just kind of calming music... but again... if you've just seen the Shrek is Love videos... you can listen to this to calm you down.

Leekspin
I could and have honestly listen to this for hours. There used to be a website where you could just listen to this and see how long you can make it... and my friends and I always listened to it on AIM and we chatted about it and had it in the background while we were chatting. And we found it on a Fall Out Boy Message Board... so this is telling you a lot about me as a teenager... lol. Honestly I'm a little over it now at 2 minutes... wow that says a lot about patience doesn't it? Lol... The song is really good, the singer is great and the little animated girl is cute.

Nyan Cat
I like the video of this more than the song... so idk. I'm listening to the song as I write this. I think the cat with the pop tart is cute. I love the stars in the night sky and even the rainbow. I think its cute. Annoying... couldn't make it to 5 minutes let alone 10 hours... so yeah. Lol.

Baker Cat
This is even cuter and the song is even better... but I don't think I'll make it long with this either. I'm going back to something with more of a plot... like He man. Lol.

They're taking the hobbits to Isengard
This is a funny one. And Orlando Bloom even loves it which just makes me really respect him. This is really funny. I've listened to it about 2 or 3 times now... think I'm on the third listen in the loop. Its really catchy and funny. Might be the catchiest of all these videos... and I like that. Its really funny too. I just like it.

100 Yo Mamma Jokes
This is 28 minutes.. I only watched about 8 minutes and there were some I giggled at... but overall I was offended. I'm a feminist... and I can take a joke... but Yo Momma and Women Belong in the Kitchen jokes are just not funny. And if you're a man asking if a woman is on her period... just don't.

So this started out on a high note... and I feel like it ended pretty low. Overall... didn't like much of the things for that long... so yeah. Now I'm bummed again. Ohhh well. That's life sometimes am I right?

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
