Shannon Goes Viral: Sausage Party, Taking The Plunge and Pranks.

So... I just watched the first 2 videos one after the other... and Idk what to even think!

Sausage Party Trailer
Alright this is an adult cartoon that really makes you think its going to be a kids movie until it says the F word... and it looks very funny... but it absolutely horrified me. I think it looks funny and it looks like its going to be a great movie... but I'm recovering from the trailer...

So it starts off with a bunch of food happy to be taken home out of the grocery store. The Seth Rogen Sausage is in love with a girl bun and they say "Its like we belong together' and its really cute and they play happy music. And the food keeps saying that they've been chosen for a greater good and... its weird. It sounds a little cult-y... so when you see them in the kitchen... you sorta know whats going to happen... but I still wasn't emotionally prepared for the part where the woman peels the skin off of the potato! Its just kind of brutal, and then the baby carrots try to escape and she eats them and they say "What she's eating the children." And I wasn't emotionally prepared to feel this way about food. Lol.

So... yeah. I want to see this movie... but I was horrified by it... so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to see it. Lol. Is that sad? It looks good but I was kind of horrified. Lol.

I knew it was going to not be a kids movie... I mean its called Sausage Party... but it still got me with the happy music and then it got dark very fast. Lol. Definitely watch the trailer and be horrified.

Its like Toy Story, but they actually kill and eat the toys. Lol. Watch the trailer here. I watched it again... and I know I'll have to watch this movie anyway... even if I'm emotionally scarred by the trailer.

Taking The Plunge
This  is what I watched right after the Sausage Party trailer... And I saw everyone commenting "I'm not crying" and I totally was not nearly as emotional about this as I was about the Potato being slaughtered in the Sausage Party trailer... lol. And that's sad.

But this is an adorable animated short about a guy that's proposing to his girlfriend, but he drops the ring in shark infested waters and then the cutest octopus that keeps doing heart symbols with its tentacles tries to help him find it and almost gets eaten by a shark... its just really really cute. Again... it didn't get me as emotional as the Sausage Party... but it looked good.

Iphone 6s Cookie Monster commercial
This is the best commercial ever. It has Cookie Monster in it! So he's baking cookies and waiting... and waiting... and waiting... and its so cute and I can relate to that. Lol. I love it.

Iphone 6s Cookie Monster Bloopers
This was even cuter and funnier. And very in Cookie Monster's character... but seriously Siri? You don't understand a word I say... but you can understand cookie monster! But yeah... I'm probably as patient waiting for cookies as cookie monster... so I can relate to that commercial!

Eat an Organic Pear
So I was watching a Kimberly Clark video and she mentioned the video "Eat an Organic Pear" which I never heard about... and it was really funny. I really liked it. I thought it was funny. Basically its a prank video where they call supermarkets and say "Eat an Organic Pear!" And it was funny!

Zombie Prank
This has been buzzed about today on the news and such... so I needed to check it out! Some brothers decided to pull a prank on their sister saying that it was the zombie apocalypse because  she had dental surgery and was loopy on pain meds. I don't like this girl... Which is mean to say... but she didn't save the dog. Lol. I feel like it was the pain meds talking... but they could have taken the dog and the cat... and they should have. Lol. This was a mean prank though, you could tell a lot of the cut stuff was probably really emotional or something for the girl. Kinda funny... but thats pretty harsh. Lol.

And that's it! Hope you guys like this! Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
