Weekly Wrap Up 4.24.16

Favorites

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt- I didn't have time to watch this until Monday and I haven't had enough time to finish it this week... but so far so good! I love Kimmy Schmiddt. Idk if I like it as much as last year... but its still great! I Love it! I think its a great show!

DNCE- I just did a review on their EP and I loved it! I hope they come out with more songs soon. I think its fun. I think I have a crush on Nick Jonas... and I just think they have a good sound and they're a lot of fun. Kinda reminds me of Cobra Starship!

Iced White Mocha with Rasberry- I think this was my first time having that. It tasted really good and sweet too! I was surprised at how much I really liked it.

Snippets from the week
I figured I'd change highlights to snippets cause I keep doing snippet posts.

- Monday I watched Season 2 of Kimmy Schmiddt mostly.
-Tuesday I went shopping with my mom and I had pizza.
- Thursday and Friday I went shopping too.
-I had a lot of Starbucks.
-I went to Ulta on Friday and went to an American Eagle for a sale!
- Saturday I got my bridesmaid dress!
-Ate Garbage Pizza
-Ate some Rice Pudding
-Ate coconut Shrimp
-Had a good salad
- Is this just about things I ate?
- Yep... that's okay.
-I actually went to American Eagle on Monday too I think!
-I think I went to Ulta Monday too? Maybe Tuesday... think I went two times this week... lol.
-Ohhh and Dance Lessons! I'm getting good at the Hustle!

TV Highlights
I think most everything was a repeat. I saw Grey's Anatomy kinda sorta... really unfair that Callie wants to move her daughter to New York. Not right to do that to Arizona.

Scandal's been good lately too! I don't 100% pay attention... but its been good!

And Kimmy Schmiddt... which I've talked about and I'll review more later.

News and World Events
Of corse, the world is still morning the loss of Prince. So sad. Also the wrestler Chyna, Patton Oswalt lost his wife... its been a very sad week for the world.

We also remember the 400th anniversary I believe of Shakespeare's death. The cast of Something Rotten had a big celebration for it and that looked fun! I love that play... so I was happy seeing that.

Harriet Tubman is going to be on the $20 bill and a Eleanor Roosevelt is going to be on the back of something.

Will Arnett is not Megan Fox's Baby Daddy. Brian Austin Green is and the 2 are working on their marriage! They reported it with a picture of her next to Will Arnett and I was like "whattt?" Lol.

Other Celeb Baby News: I think I already mentioned Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are having a second baby. Chrissy Teigan and John Legend had their baby this week. I think thats it on the baby news? Idk.

And that's it!

Hope you guys liked this or found it fun... I'm changing it up a little bit again cause that makes sense.

Byeeee!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
