Scribbles! 3.4.17

Saturday 2.25
Today we had friends over for dinner. We were celebrating one of our friends birthdays and we just caught up, ate some roast beef and it was all nice and fun! They were over for a while! It was good! We had fun! I watched some crazy ex girlfriend, I cleaned the bathroom and started listening to the soundtrack for Dear Evan Hansen... which was really good so far! I've just been listening to musical soundtracks lately, I've been listening to The Great Comet of 1812 and I finished that... so now I'm just watching a little bit of everything!

Sunday 2.26
Sunday my sister and niece stopped over! She picked up the handprint paperweight that she made with the baby and we got one as well! So cute! We talked a little and watched the baby and played with her and we watched the Oscars a little bit! The baby looks a little bigger and different every time we see her now! She's got a lot of hair! She's so cute!

Also I did a recap of the Oscars already... but man! What a year to actually watch the whole thing! I didn't even tivo it until the end because I thought that nothing would happen at the end... Totally regret that! Lol.

Monday 2.27
We stopped by my sister's house and played with the baby a bit! She had Tummy Time... she's getting so smart and understands a little more every time we see her! I know I keep saying that, but it's true! I'm proud of her! Lol.

I also started watching Amelie... I kind of want to see the musical if Philippa Soo is still in it around the time of my birthday... which I would assume she is... now I'm not so sure about it. The movie is beautiful... idk how much I'm paying attention though. I started watching tonight... I'll watch some more tomorrow and after... it'll be interesting. I was thinking of doing blogs called "Shannon does stuff" where I do something every day for a month... I think Watching movies is going to be my thing for March and I'm going to count this one too. If you've followed these blogs for a while, you'll see a pattern of "I want to see that movie" and then I just didn't... so this is going to be a month where I actually do watch some of these!

Tuesday 2.28
Tuesday I finished watching Amelie... it was pretty good! I liked it a lot! I did a review on it on my Feminist blog... I'll have a review on it on "Shannon Does Stuff" for March whenever I get around to it... I haven't posted the February "Shannon Does Stuff" yet... so you don't really know what it is!

I also wrote a little on my blog... I tried to watch Riverdale episode 2 again... I feel like I've seen the beginning soooo many times now that it's hard to watch the second episode. And I painted my nails at night... so overall... it was a good day.

Wednesday 3.1
Uhhh... forget what I did this day... hmmm. I think people were working around the neighborhood and our water was shut off for a little bit... and that was kind of hard... but overall the day was pretty good. TV was alright. Evverything was pretty good. I watched Zootopia... so that was all pretty good! Fun day.

Thursday 3.2
I went to my sister's house and then later tried the Georgia Gold KFC Chicken! It was really good! Scribbles About Food on that sometime in the near future. Fun day overall!

Friday 3.3
I did some shopping! I went to CVS and TJ Maxx and I'll probably have a haul on my other blog soon... got some good stuff that I can't wait to try! And I ate lasagna without getting anything on my shirt! I was super impressed... although I did bump my head, and I woke up with a Stye and an ear ache... but the stye got better pretty fast and the ear ache is getting a little better now too.

And that is it for the week! Hope you guys like it!

Byeee!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
