Scribbles About Food: The Original Cannoli Chips- Cookies and Cream and Powdered Sugar

So this is a relatively low calorie snack that is delicious and sweet. It's from a family owned business, with a family recipe which is really awesome.

These have "No artificial anything" they also have No Trans Fat, they're Non- GMO, Nut Free... so these are pretty allergy and diet friendly. The Cookies and Cream ones are 90 calories... I didn't check the original ones... but I think they're low calories for the most part and they have a pretty good serving size too. 8 chips is one serving size... which is a good amount for these. It is also certified kosher. These fit a lot of food restrictions and diet restrictions... these would taste great in some kind of dip... that would be less diet friendly but if you put these out at a party without dip... people would probably love them just like that also.

The Cookies and Cream ones remind me of the 100 Calorie Oreo Snack Packs that they used to have... idk if they still make these or not. The cookies and cream are super chocolatey and the powdered sugar makes it nice and sweet and flavorful. There is kind of an odd after taste to these... but they're pretty good regardless. It's something I would definitely buy again and eat.

The Powdered Sugar flavor is even better. It's just a plain cannoli chip... but its just better. These would taste amazing with ice cream or cannoli dip or something... but I LOVE them on their own anyway. This is a perfect sweet snack that's just so good. I don't even really miss the dip with these, that's how good they are on their own!

So I think I kind of like the regular Cannoli Chips you could get at the grocery store better than the Cookies and Cream flavor... but the Powdered Sugar flavor is Wayyyyy better than those that come with the cannoli dip... so this is just a really good snack. Highly Recommend... definitely something I'll eat again!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
